He's pretty much implied that it's a fuckload of bts work that has nothing to do with streaming, and that management is generally retarded when it comes to dealing with issues or ensuring that streaming specifically goes well.
And also that said management reflexively kneecap attempts at being creative or do unusual content, since they have a very narrow view of what success looks like and want to play things safe.

You know, in general vtubers just aren't going to last as long as people working an office job or construction. That's just not the kind of job it is. Even the oldest vtubers haven't been doing this for even just 10 years yet. Meanwhile I've been at my job for close to 15.

By 2030 I'd assume most of the girls we have right now are going to be gone. And that's just how it is.

I know that girls at prod kawaii had to do reports to their managers after each streams. I assume cover has the same thing going on + a bunch of other autistic thing like that.

Ina got royally fucked by Cover, but going by how bocchi Ina is, I doubt she is all that mad if she has a good reason to skip over all the mandatory Cover homework she had to do in JP.

From my understanding of what HoloJP is saying (Pekora saying that if you want to stream do NOT join holo, and Laplus saying she thought studio work is at most once or twice a month and NOT practically every time), there is a LOT of behind the scenes work with Cover. At least on the EN side, the people who graduated are people who aren't top idol power tier AND they want to stream more. Considering Ina is the former but not the latter (Nagu pretty sure streamed about as often as Namie does now), I'm sure she is on the same deal Gura is in. That is, minimal streaming, some homework here and there, in exchange for them not officially graduating so both Cover and the girls can keep on profiting off the Gura/Ina IP. Pretty sure the takodachi IP alone is enough for Cover to give in to her whatever she demands for the bare minimum in return

So yeah IMHO, in the event Ina feels the itch to stream more and do Cover homework less, then she will graduate. But I highly doubt that happen, as her bocchi nature means that if she can do her priestess duties while doing Holo as a side job to rake in the royalties from merch/channel revenue, she will have less motivation to do lots of streaming activities as an indie.
Next you are gonna tell us that Gura is being forced to stream. Ina focuses on her other job and Holo allows her to fuck off for months. The visa thing may or may not be entirely Covers fault. You realize they flew Ina out and housed her on their dime right? Just to fuck her over right? Good rrat

Well seeing as how Ina is basically locked out of JP, Holofes is going to be a lot of fun this year with a bunch of the girls gone too.

Thats so cringe. Imagine doing a minecraft stream and having to write a detailed essay on every block you collected and placed.

What about the numerous faces of the company that won't leave then? I think proof of an issue doesn't mean Cover's dying, especially if majority of them continues to believe in the vision of the company.
>One person leaves *insert small corpo here*
> SMALL CORPO IS DYING

> Three people leave Holo at around the same time citing a change in direction and management disagreements
>D-dont worry guys, Holo isnt dying yet

Yeah, that's why I wrote "basically". She can't utilize the studio and if she does any 3D stuff for Holofes, she would have to do it state side.

Exactly. We will see how serious of an issue it is when we know more about who'll stay, which what I meant as the aftermath. Maybe me being ESL didn't make it clear enough
we should wait and see the aftermath of the change before openly arguing it's over.

Nijisanji survived graduations that would kill every corp that's not hololive. Almost like money has a role in the implosion of the companies. Companies with weaker brands die to weaker punches, simple as that. One person doesn't kill them either, unless it's their only money maker, but few back to back is a bigger danger to their brand than it is to Hololive, whose one talent is worth more than an average small corp

I know everyone is angry and saying that Cover needs to address the situation, but emotions are high and realistically I'm sure everyone knows such yelling is basically pissing into a hurricane.

Cover is not Anycolor. Even if things inside are bad, Cover has consistently been more professional than Anycolor in terms of communication - or lack thereof. They have literally no reason to potentially drag their own name through the mud by making a statement. Cover will not address the situation.

And this makes me angry, but it's the kind of impotent rage you get when you are drunk and you forgot why you drank yourself to forget in the first place. Things will go back to normal, because there's no black screen, negligible statement, or anything. Lots of people will forget. Lots of people will still remember, of course, but I wouldn't call this a black screen moment, which was what took Nijisanji out in terms of foreigner reputation. Total corpo death, or something. I wish I didn't feel like this.

Anyway, the bottom line is never go public. All shareholders care about is number go up, forever. Morality and good management are a detriment.

all I want is for whoever leaves to keep streaming, I can guess it's just management instead of the talents having issues with other talents, so if anyone else leaves I can see some of them collabing with each other at least every once in a while.

It's why I hope people keep their PLs active. Nothing stopping Sachi and Dot from hanging with Lemon after all

I was doubtful of this until, of all people, Pekora herself confirmed it.

If it's from the clip I saw the guy also pretty much said that managers are out for themselves and that they will wrangle the talent to save their own job. Which is understandable but the way to go about it is wrong.

I don't have the clip but she said that things were changing on holo and things that management would normally say "yeah go ahead" are now saying "let's sit on it for a while"
