If he's using paid samples doesn't that mean Nijisanji needs written permission from the original creators of the sample as well

If I got it right, when you use a sample from a library/service you have to look for their license agreement/terms of use, which may have specific terms of what you can do with the samples, some of them will require you to credit them while others don't, some are royalty free and some others have a royalty split which either means after a certain amount of streams you need to pay fees or change to a different license which has to be renegotiated with the person that sold you the sample, some you have to pay the fee every time it makes money.

I think there are companies that act like the content ID system YouTube has but they look at every platform instead of just YouTube then they notify you of any infringement, my guess is someone at Niji hires one of this companies to check if their music was being used.

Also, every single EN girl is in it, but the con is mid October and a possible Graduation would be later in the month. Still think this makes it pretty unlikely a graduation for any of them is coming soon.

Art is expensive when you are only getting 98% from merch sales. Special art costs at least an extra 1%

Look at the sponsors list, Nijisanji can't get themselves in anymore without paying for an event. But that's a boring part, First Stage Production is far more interesting entry. Why? Because they are direct competitors of NijiEN and the company where a lot of fujos already went to. They debuted a full male EN wave specifically tailored for fujoshis, it pretty much exploded in popularity with quick followup announcing auditions for second generation, and it's very likely they will announce them at the event. Making it worse, their entire first female gen just up and left the company after termination of one of the 3rd gen members in August, and it is also likely this disintegration will continue in the future. So the results of this event might dictate if they will ride the fujo wave or crush and burn in the next year

Also i don't think invitations to events are a useful graduation-expectation metric, taking part in an event can easily be seen as the last hurrah. But Kunai graduation was expected for months in advance with her sadposting on PL, AFAIK there's currently nothing similar going on with other members.
