Just heard from a Discord homie that she's finally gone to that great big 3D Debut in the Sky. Posting the Reddit repost cuz the Twitter account blocks rando's:

Pretty brutal but thanks for documenting it. A non-complete clause forced someone to suicide and those tweets from her sub account are haunting as a result of her death but there are many others who tweet similar things. So I think it's good to archive it. Hope it was quick and painless.

Thanks, it was very hard to write with all the cross checking and re-reading to confirm it's as accurate as possible and I know the lack of Japanese proficiency means I might have missed some information. Just make sure if you want to talk about it do a bit more research with the information and if possible get a Japanese to confirm. Had to take breaks between writing because I need to distance myself somewhat from the topic.
The non compete clause itself is not the issue really. It's the combination of that and other factors contributing to the eventual end. The borrowed money gone months before debut, the social pressure, and her negative feelings which got her terminated in the first place (iirc she cried about her lack of success during a collab stream which triggered the initial suspension and led to her termination) are a combination which might be too much for a young person.
It's a reminder of one's mortality but don't dwell too much on it considering how heavy it is. I will probably leave my post in this thread for some time myself.

I don't know why she would bother to leave. She's not doing anything in Hololive right now. Why leave just to not do anything without Hololive?

1) Yuko Yurei. She has shown that she can retain her core audiences as Rye the question is will she go the extra step and realize that she doesn't have to pay as much of a cut as an indie (while keeping her core audience of down bad coomers)? She also seems very very into

2) Elia Stellaria. Despite the growth of V-Dere and her prior walkout she has shown an absurd grasp on raking in numbers. If one of the bigger corpos want numbers would they risk poaching her?

3) Nene Amano. This is my absolute out of thin air hail Mary shot. She the Queen of Kawaii should be in a very comfortable position. However considering rrats about her behind the scenes behavior one could assume that being the top dog in a fledgling corpo might not be enough, and potentially I could see her attempt to be poached by one of the big three.

Amelia Watson - Burned out. Graduates so she cal play all the indie farming sims on her stream she wants without worrying about perms.

Pomu - the closest girl to Selen. Already has a bunch of health and stress issues. Selen's graduation compounds that until it is too much.

Shiori - Gets devoured by rats during a trip to the Philippines.

So I decided to look back on my predictions to have a little giggle, and guys I think I need to kill myself


My actual guesses:
Moira - went on a year-long break back in March (after posting support for Aoi Sakura at that) but didn't actually graduate
Jurard - he's fine? but Holostars seems to be having a bit of a crisis (Regis hiatus, lots of roommate sadposting)
Luto - Prism fucking exploded and she's on hiatus, hasn't streamed in 4 months (but hasn't graduated)

My honorable mentions:
Shibuya Hajime - he's fine
Suzuya Aki - graduated
Gura - not streaming (the usual)
Someone from Production Kawaii Gen 4 (maybe Ran) - Ran graduated and then Kawaii fucking exploded
Someone gets booted from V-dere - Elia graduated after failing to out-bitch Mozzu

I probably would've seen the signs if I had the capacity to pay more attention, but as I didn't, this is surprising.
Anyway, three picks...

Yuko Yurei--graduation: considering that she’s not only restarting PL activity, but also making a move away from tactical games, I would be surprised if this isn’t happening

Papi the Lich King--cancellation and graduation (Indie, AFAICT, so not termination/expulsion): Is called out for being very nasty behind the scenes VAllure

Roca Rurin--ends up in HoloLive (unlikely, but it could happen)

Honorable mentions:
Selen–Requires no explanation. Not picked due to being on “death row” (and therefore disqualified) but couldn’t leave out entirely
Marina–Do I really need to say? Not picked due to being way too obvious
Gura–As much as I don’t want this to happen, it sadly seems inevitable
VAllure–New agency run by Exoe. Models are premade (in 2024), silhouettes are even on the website, yet characters are not cast (at least wait to cast them)
Anyone I don't watch--No, just kidding
