Wtf is an exit bag?/uuu/ was talking about the least painful way to go and that's how I learned about exit bags. Unfortunately no one posted any pic of actually committing yet. Cowards.

Even if you just want to stream every day and do nothing else, a corpo can bring much bigger numbers, a better model, and organize stuff like merch and sponsorships. Being in a corpo, even in a small corpo, also gives you credibility that you mightn't have as an indie and open doors for you that might otherwise be difficult to get through as an indie.Really depends on what you want to get out of it.
If you have bigger aspirations outside of just streaming day-in-day-out, a corpo is going to help you immensely, which we have seen new talents like Kanade say that if you want to make it into the music Vtuber business, Cover is the place to be.
You do know he has created content for a decade, and he is almost 40. He already said his passion is on the set, creating comedy sketch and stuff. The day Jerma announced he had a manager is the day he started to stream less and now he's retired.
Streamers don't need direct management. Fuck managers.
Almost 2 decades, counting the youtube years. Eventually, performers either move on to something new or their creativity stagnates. It's part and parcel of the medium, and V-tubing isn't immune to it. Some of the Holo girls have been in the entertainment industry as idols or streamers for over a decade at this point, someday soon we're going to have people retiring outright, instead of going to another streaming identity somewhere else. Time comes for us all....You do know he has created content for a decade, and he is almost 40. He already said his passion is on the set, creating comedy sketch and stuff.
Some people have to move on, he can't possibly keep up with newer and younger streamer.
Sorry for derailing the thread for a bit.
Time must've forgot DSP cos he sure as hell ain't dying soon.Time comes for us all....
I'm just glad I don't have to change my usernameHow many saplings are now decaying and fertilizing Cover's garden of barren women?
Fauna leaving has to at least lead to one death.
We shall never forget the mass Sanallite passing of 2022
When it comes to Holostars I fully believe IF they were to go under, the first baton would fall on EN rather than JP. Both are horribly mismanaged in some parts but JP members have less reason to leave and rarely use their PL presence.Apologies for the r/kurosanji link, but over there they seem to think that the boys are a "when", not an "if". If this is truly the case, well, we'll at least have a lot more content for this thread.
Part of me wants to hope that Yagoo won't let his pet project crash and burn. Part of me also recognises that that may only just apply to the JP boys and not the EN ones.

Do you know how many people have only started following vtuber in the last two years? When we enthusiastically introduced our oshi to them, thinking that the fan community had welcomed new friends, but oshi graduated the next day. When the outside world feels that vtuber is nothing more than an opportunistic profession. How do we explain that to them?
In the past Hololive fes and concerts, it is common to see many teenagers and children, who like vtuber as much as Pikachu and MIKU. But then you announce that you're ending this IP because you're having problems with some unnamed executive. All the combinations, all the promises, all the expectation of audience, all become air. like a car accident. How dare you do that?
Do you know how many people started paying attention because hololive seemed more stable than nijisanji or some indie vtuber? Your sudden departure not only created a crisis of trust, but also forced other colleagues to carefully answer a lot of offensive questions ,
Why can't you just say that I can't take this place anymore, so I have to leave, instead of saying that I love everything about this place, but I don't want to be here
I once imagined that if one day a vtuber actor would die or be unable to continue his career because of a real accident, then I would cherish everything they created.
But this time is different. I just feel really sick and disappointed.

The Chinese (real or west) take their 2D women very seriously, would kill over them, even.

The management is for all the other things outside of streaming, which, gasp, SURPRISE-SURPRISE - corpo chuubas do a lot of. Merch consults, studio recordings, dance lessons/rehearsals, event/travel planning and coordination with other talents, studio & staff and that involves tickets, venue access, badges and all the transport in-between. And that's not even touching all the paperwork and contract minutiae for sponsors/partnerships, event appearances, merch collabs, etc.Streamers don't need direct management. Fuck managers.
