You are aware that most of the reason why we know about PC's disastrous first year was because Pippa spilling the beans repeatedly during her meltdowns? Then the WoW stream where she talked about Fishman being a complete retard about hiring editors and assigning workloads, right? The about 15 different times she specifically said PC was ran like ass until Muumi was hired and saved the company? The time she talked about all of Gen1 being ready to walk out on fishman together? Exactly. Phase as a corpo has come a long, long way from its beginnings. It has also learned from its errors, and you can see that their hard work has paid off since every generation has a loyal following. To the point it outperforms NijiEN in certain time slots and against some NijiEN heavy-hitters.
Or, an indie-hired manager that might be your controlling family figure that has no idea on how to go about things and won't listen; but just wants to reap the monetary benefits of owning a golden goose.
This is a huge problem within indie-world that even the bigger indies suffer through - simply put because they are more at the mercy of their own decisions. It's easy looking at the greener pastures and thinking, "Well I can do it BETTER." Except once you go to the greener pastures you realize that there are a hundred other cows trying to enjoy the same greener pastures and who sometimes put insane amount of hours just to be able to perform at a 'survivable' pay. Let's not forget that you're also carrying a following that expects you to cater to their same sanitize tastes, which can easily drop you the moment they see that you aren't really into the same interests they have.

On the topic of corpos vs indies, I've mentioned this before, but it's ignorant to reality to treat indies as this monolithic group where the activities of one can be construed as representative of them all. People here can pretend all indies are talentless whores selling their virtual bodies on Twitch, and people like Proctor and I can pretend indies are all good girls that dindu nuffin, but the reality is that both are true, since the term "indie" is big and all-encompassing enough to unite them simply by what they aren't, which is a corpo vtuber. Even if the corpo scene explodes, that'd give the term indie even less meaning, as then that'd be the default state of vtubers and would describe exactly nothing. Total corpo death does seem more possible than ever before at this point, given how Holo is fucking things up, but if it does come to pass (which would also have to mean Brave and all the small corpos die off, for some reason), I don't think we would see the Age of the Indie, as if indies are all on the same team and cooperating under the same banner. People would just do their own thing. Hell, some would probably try and make their own company, and then this autistic debate would start all over again.
On the topic of Hololive Ls, it feels like karma has come for holobros after a year or two of Total Niji Death. In the end, Hololive is a large Japanese corporation, subject to all the autism and retardation that comes with the territory, and while we've been willing to overlook it for all the good they've done, they have, historically, made a lot of fuck ups. It shouldn't be that surprising they would hit a rough patch like this, especially with them going public recently. I can't say I'm as bloodthirsty towards them as I am Niji, at least for the sake of the talents I care about like Mori and Gigi, but I would really like to see this situation acknowledged by Yagoo, with an explanation of why it happened and what he's going to do to prevent it happening in the future. If he has one thing Riku didn't when he made his statement, it's goodwill, and if he wants to maintain that goodwill, he needs to stop this talent bleed before more people lose their oshis.

It's not banned but what they're allowed to do has been restricted. Shit started getting bad when those Bunny Garden streams got taken down, Okayu toned down her membership ASMR, Choco eventually got hit and hasn't done it for a few months worsening her usual lack of streams. They can still do ear cleaning, ear blowing, whatever other mundane sounds but Choco and Okayu liked to make moaning sounds and that's gone now.
I wish they would stream it elsewhere, there's no point paying for the membership if the ASMR has to be kid friendly while youtube ignores the dozens of onlyfans girls showing their bare tits and thongs under the guise of educational.
Classic corpos will diminish and even Holo will settle as more of a career step than ultimate goal.
Millions go from random part-time to corpo to better corpo to opening their own business, vtubers won't be any different. In fact, top performers of top corpos are logically first candidates to go out on their own, unless music is not their main thing and they actually require such production team. Work 1-5 years for a corpo, then leave when your paycheck stops growing (for any reason).

I feel like an actual inside man wouldnt feel that much of a need to cope if she is in a "safe" space. (not really but many still treat members like that) and she is being more neutral than positive or even too reassuring, but also not too doomer either, being doomer isnt hard for Kiara because of her terminal brainworms so she is probably in sound mind about it so faris it possible that kiara's just coping as much as we are?
