People will overlook Pekora's performance on stage 2, but it was probably my favorite of all. It shows another side of her we dont get to see really.

I know at the end of the day, it's a business and management is doing this to make profit and all that corporate shit but like these girls have all come from different backgrounds across the world because they have dreams they want to accomplish

and they want to make people smile while working towards those dreams.

Subaru started out as a girl who just needed money and knew nothing about the culture. But she grinded her ass off, worked painfully hard for years and can now stand in front of thousands of people and proudly say she's an idol. I just think that's beautiful.

At a certain point Hololive feels likes it's a totally different world from the rest of the vtubing world. Aside for Phase Connect, Hololive feels like one of the only few real passion project companies in industry. Yagoo seems like a great CEO and I hope he doesn't leave.

Moona's 2022 performance was amazing but I remember her 2023 one being just good. Ollie's two performances in 2023 seem like a freak accident in how good they were, not sure if she can strike a third time.

Both her and Calli complained because they didn't know the songs would be played by a house band rather than the original tracks, and as such they would have picked different songs if they had known. Or at least that's the story they both tell.

ID is pretty great their problem comes from trying to do ID-only streams. Once they started to do more EN streams and appeal to more people + their maassive pop off after 3rd Live got everyone's eyes on them.

Yeah I like the id girls but it's sad all their Collab content is inaccessible to me as an eop because they understandably default to ID in ID collabs unless there is an EN thrown in

They don't have to pay any fees to perform it. That really helps matters. It's also not the most complex song from the backing band's view, so works as a bit of a "Cover Classic", cheap and give the band a bit of an easy piece in the middle of a set.

Also, I told you they would let ID3 be together. Cover just hated CouncilRyS for two whole years.

Literally cannot convince me they didn't shaft CouncilRyS in 2023.

Well you see, I've heard from reputable sources that Council didn't do as well as Cover expected, and obviously their weird project hope thing wasn't working out either. So yeah they merged them into Promise, but that's because they had to promise to become comfort women whenever they were in Japan so Cover could feel like they at least got a return on their investment.

Shit posting aside the 2nd stage was right up there with the first. I thought it had some more unexpected performances whereas the 1st stage had exactly what you'd expect sans the Bae thing. Very good stuff. Shuba is jockeying for my fav performance from the 2nd stage, although I also love Sora-chan and Zeta. Watame had a nice fit with Calli although I still like to see pink woman (good) and blue woman (child) perform it together because Gura just brings a sass to it that can't be matched by Watame's more power-filled smooth voice.

Speaking of sass, for those of us that didn't watch the advent watchalong here's their Gura reaction and then they had a short section where they started taking Choco-sen's various features for themselves lemao
