I think it was way better than the one year they for some reason decided to have that weird summer concert that went to shit because of the platform they chose, that year the Fes felt shittier and a little rushed to me.

That was 2023. There was an issue there where I think night 2 wasn't made a vod on SPWN way longer than we're used to now.

What does the past year have anything to do with the quality of fes? That's just how you feel (which isn't wrong) but it has nothing to do with the event being better or worse. For my part I felt like it was about as good as last year's.

Vibes can affect how I perceive an event. Even something that is good might feel bogged down due to how I feel at the time. When I'm feeling uneasy or tired, I can get more prone to being distracted and overlook things in the concert. I know this isn't an objective way to see the concert, that's why I want to rewatch it again.

The summer concert was at 2023, so I guess you are referring to 4th Fes. Let me see what I can remember.
1. That was the first concert where we got to experience the infamous camera issues. I guess that was the main reason you think it was shit?
2. It was the first Fes we got to see CouncilRyS and ID2 perform. We got to witness Bae's sick dance move for the first time.

I compared the clip to the original stream and this does appear to be an intentionally misleading edit. The clipper removed several sentences that made it obvious she was talking about the cube. The rest of Marine's segment of the clip is basically unedited, and starts here in the original stream.

I watched the original stream before the clip came out, and Marine unequivocally stated that Kumarine was being filmed on Sunday evening for a video to be released later, and anyone who had been there at the time could have ended up in the video. As she was saying this, a large portion of the Japanese stream chat took this to mean that she might have been in the costume herself, which can be seen in the comments. Someone also mentioned this to Korone later, which is covered in the first segment of the clip.

It looks like the clipper ran with this possible interpretation and did some intentionally misleading editing to further support the theory. (The clip got 150k views in 12 hours, so it worked out well for him.)

Yes, there were parts this year that I was really starting to drag mentally. Part of it I'm sure is that I didn't pay this time so I wasn't as invested in it, and also sketchy stream quality. Being poor is gay.
Rewatching parts solved most of those issues though; recordings were better quality than the live re-streams, and it was easier to pay attention the second time around.

Korone actually asked to be in one and management said no.
Interestingly JP niki told Korone marine did it so the misleading clip is being spread and taken as fact even in the JP circle.
