Some excerps from the after party stream:
- Aikatsu is super autism, Polka was surprised she was given perms to sing one full song and it might be the first time the girls get to sing the full "Happy Reflection" song on stage. The company specifically doesn't allow the girls from singing their full song on their own concerts, only one chorus is allowed (because it is like that in the game)
- new holo stage feature: there are so many more lights you can use and polka told them to use everything. Polka specifically requested them to add the feature to have different colour rim lighting cause up until now it was only white
- The puppet choreography was actually super hard despite how simple it looks, a lot of fast & full body movement involving speeeening and all the little finger movements. Polka actually ran out of breath. If the song was any longer she wouldn't have made it.
- Likes eating taiyaki from the head because she can stare at the fish eyes while chomping down on it
- Wanted to do a Polka producer style concert again but it seems impossible now as Holomems got a lot busier.
- Wanted to have signature on both the set and album be unlimited. But holostaff told her she will actually die if doing so. The signed album are actually unlimited right now on the store but slated to be removed after some time.
- Reminiscent about her early days when she streamed by plugging LAN cable into phone line because her microwave interrupts her wifi
Phase was obviously influenced by early Hololive (Fishman saying he wanted his own Marine should be evidence enough of that) but I think it's evolved beyond its origin to be its own thing, especially after the first year. There's very different rules of conduct for the talents, and very different expectations on content from the audience. Even if Hololive and Phase Connect occasionally have concerts where talents wear mocap suits to dance and sing to jpop and jpop-like music as their anime girl avatars.
As for replacing Hololive, there are millions of fans of Hololive and those fans all have different things they want from Hololive and its talents. It would be impossible for Phase Connect to meet all of those different expectations. But for some people, if Hololive ever collapsed (I hope it doesn't), Phase Connect is going to give them the content they want. Just a few days ago we saw the chart that about 12% of Gawr Gura's viewers are also Phase Connect viewers, after all.

Anilive - private company, 0 transparency, the website only has audition functions, raised $14.9M in funding. Tbf the app is only out for a bit before closing itself down for "upgrade"
REALITY - Established by GREE holdings. Only reported FY2024, with netsale of ¥6.479 billion and net income of ¥1.113 billion. 17 million downloads with 80% oversea user ratios as of September 2024.
IRIAM - acquired 80% stakes by DeNA Co., Ltd. (mobile game company) in July 2021 for ¥12 billion yen ~~ $108 million dollar at the time. Note that they already owned 20% before, making it a 100% owned subsidiary. 3.49 million download as of October 2024. This one reported better.
So this 80% overseas user rate sounds susge to me. It's impossible for me as a person to download the Reality app, much less stream/gain viewers on it as it is japanese only. Why are the overseas user rate making up entire userbase? Call this a rrat, but I think they are using Indian bots to boost their numbers of download. And since their self-reported user number is likely faked, the revenue and profit might be as well.

Anilive also has the balls to say this: "We've watched with pride as several of our creators earned over $2,000 in their first month of streaming, proving that sustainable content creation is possible without the endless grind for views."
But Harry just really self-reported that this $2000 came straight from anilive's pocket as a battle royale tournament rewards, they actually earned jack shit in donations, subscriptions and ads. This is really sustainable isn't it. No wonder Captain ditched Harry, this guy is a generational idiot who can't keep his mouth shut.

Whelp, Saya is officially gone now. As I posted in the liveposting thread, she confirmed that it was her personal decision, there were no disagreements or drama that led to this, she holds Phase in high regards and thanks them numerous times for giving her a chance, and that Sakana even asked her to stay.
Sadly, it seems she definitely has regrets, mostly stemming from her being so shy and not collabing and interacting with the others even though she really wanted to. She says she genuinely does love her genmates and will definitely be keeping in touch with them. Also said that she will shill Phase until the day she dies (welcome to the Phasefags, Saya).
An interesting thing to note is that a few times throughout the stream, she says she's "taking a back seat". She won't be streaming anymore and probably won't be posting on her socials anymore, but she says she may show up for collabs and covers at times. She also confirmed she still has a cover that she's been working on coming out in the future. So, that would be nice to see.
Personally, I didn't watch her much, but I did enjoy watching her from time to time when she wasn't just doing reactions to shitty zoomer memes. Absolutely no offense to her, but because of this, mainly brought on by her lack of streaming consistently, she was on the low end of the spectrum for talents leaving that would hit me the hardest. Still, as I'm a big Phasefag, it's a shame to see her leave. It felt like she fit in well with Gen 3. Shame that they've been going through a lot as a Gen, but their current three active members are strong enough to carry on, and hopefully Hina will eventually make her return.

Sounds like she's been initially diagnosed with endometriosis, which the internet is telling me is when the tissue which grows inside the uterus grows other places such as in the fallopian tubes or ovaries. It's apparently incredibly painful particularly around menstrual periods and is treatable but not curable, and she may be infertile which she seems particularly sad about. In addition her grandmother is not doing well. She's not yet going to return to regular streaming but will try to do some guerrillas in the upcoming week. She's also going to be hanging out with friends IRL. She asked us not to bring it up in chat on upcoming streams.
Edit: If you're so inclined, go send Perry a marshmallow and tell her that her surgery is gonna be okay and that her tentacles looked particularly squishy today.

Hi everyone.
I made a little announcement a couple days ago on my Discord and even made vague implications of this since last year, BUT I am going to go away for quite sometime. IRL responsibilities, burnout, and some newfound passions made it difficult for me to continue being a YouTuber, so much so that I have to take some time off to go on an indefinite hiatus and think about where and how I want my life to be.
I'll be holding a week-full of streams next week and upload one more video after my last stream so we can have some time to do stuff. After that, I will pause all memberships and be inactive.
Many of my viewers might have actually expected this (they're smart creatures who figured it out since last year lmao). Whether that be through the slowdown of video uploads, not being caught up to industry happenings, inability to stick to schedules, etc.
Fret not, this is just a hiatus for a reason. I don't know when I'm going to come back but do expect some very big changes when I do.
Donothon rewards are still incoming as well.

PixelLink's ceasing operations on 31 March due to health issues of the CEO, FatCat. Kanna owns her IP now and will graduate on 27 February, but will continue as an indie in her current account.

She used the money of her birthday donathon to buy her IP. When they were informed that the company was probably shutting down at the end of last year they didn't know if it would be possible, and all the hurdles weren't cleared until last week.
The VSMP Minecraft server has been backed up and they're considering how to redeploy it in a different machine.
The NDA for her Freya Fuyuki PL has now expired, so it's not a problem that Paypal will say that when you StreamElements her. Plus she plans to unprivate her VODs and watch her very first debut for things like anniversaries. This doesn't apply for Erika. She doesn't want people to reference it too much though, Kanna is the persona she wants to be.
She has already talked to Mo-mama about how to manage the new outfit process and is already making moodboards for a few ideas.
This was her initial idea for the announcement thumbnail. She says she wanted to make it not dramatic...
She isn't planning to stream on Twitch for now, but if she does it will just be a multi-stream and she won't split her content between platforms.
The girls will remain together, despite not all of them keeping their IPs. Expect to hear familiar voices in her channel in the future. Those girls' PixelLink channels will link what their new personas are in their About sections.
