And that thread resulted in this counter thread, where people expressed their disdain for people talking about PL openly.

I mentioned this like a week ago, it seems they instituted a new mod or the old one became more active because PL bait threads and comments have been getting removed lighting fast.

The info has always been in the threads here, but there was pushback against the idea of collating it and publishing it in easily accessible fashion, and people who asked outside of an ongoing discussion tended to get "do your reps" type replies. If this place has got over that and is onboard with just listing the information then I'm all in favour ("publish the information, but in such a way that only autists and obsessives can find it" is the worst of both worlds IMO), but let's not pretend that isn't a shift.

I just don't think it's healthy to mix real life stuff.

IMO if we're talking about a second public streaming persona then that should be treated the same whether that persona is a vtuber or fleshtuber. Of course in practice with things like that college promotional video it's not always easy to draw the line between publicly published content and purient personal information.
