Karrot Keromi and Liola Lightbringer were released last year and became indies whereas Liliana Vampaia and Lunaris Urufi remained in the new version of whatever the company is now. I did a quick check on YouTube and it seems they’re launching Gen 1 with another two new girls.

AFAIK she took her IP with her but not model. Not sure if she turned down a model buyout offer from MyHoloTV due to price or it could also be a personal decision to rebrand. She might have talked about it on stream but it’s paywalled behind a membership.

Okay, I had never heard of a "partial" buyout before. Then again Chiaki Katsumi has done something similar as she's changed to a different model a few weeks after her buyout from PixelLink.

Many companies sell only some of their assets for a cash injection, and creatives often sell a portion of their rights related to certain works. Of course everyone likes a clean break, where there's no place for doubt or interpretation to arise, but often that is simply not realistic.

Well, the Malaysian ringgit isn't exactly the strongest currency and unless you're backed by a pretty good international corpo that can afford the loss, this outcome was entirely expected. At least they didn't scam their own talents from what I've seen.

I'll just say this last thing and move on because I got my fun out of it. The way she handled it seems very two face and also very damage control to keep the paypigs at her feet.
