Since we're back on the PL stuff and I'm just done catching up.. just had to reply to this one:



We're talking about my same post, right? Making it sound like I'm some random who came out of nowhere stirring up shit. I know I don't post all that much, but I've been here from the start..
This post was last November. After a couple of replies at the time, I never mentioned it again.

Once again, the intent was never to put personal information on display - only linking "past life" vtuber accounts.
The only grey area that came up was twitter accounts, but you must not confuse personal accounts, which may have varying degrees of personal information, with alt accounts. Alt accounts typically still relate to vtubing, but post things they wouldn't normally want to make public on their main account. I believe this information is relevant to include on the chart.

Lastly, if I ever did make this thing, what would happen realisticly? I would make a post about it here, some people would look at it, I'd get some stickers (hopefully including at least one migo and one thumbs up), and that'd be it. It would be there online if people want to go and reference it, but it's not like it's being broadcast for the whole world to see.

No, i dont think it was your post, i think people are dunking on some driveby femboy who came in and sperged out about not having dedicated threads (boy, did that age well) because it meant he had to do his reps when it came to juicy drama

Its a bit late but the general point of tism convention is people not wanting Nyfco tier PL (i.e personal and usually relationship focused) which many have agreed already, it was only a minor miscommunication

Ironically it still wouldnt have been enough, only the phase thread seems to care about drama or dooming about the company, everytime i check the holo, Lig or Small indie thread its just clip/stream posting with a chain of discussion here and there

I'm pretty sure there are news that just gone completely unnoticed because people don't care enough to write things to 5 people, and don't know whether to post to here or to the holo thread.
E.g. 3 days ago Calli got a performance for the japanese royal family, which hololive with their famous perm autism even ended up editing it out of the vods
Honestly the threadsplit has done so much damage to the forum, even merging it back won't help at this point. People who stopped caring wouldn't care again.

If the target of the threadsplit move is removing all the holofags from the forum they gonna be successful sooner or later.

Holo talk in this thread was mostly clip shilling and occasional gushing about a talent, most of the discussion that included Holo wasn't even about Holo, it was using the company as some measuring stick to talk about other companies or the industry. Phase gets more discussion than everyone else because phase has way more people here who care about it, how many times does this need to be restated?

Dont get me wrong, im not complaining or bitching that Holo doesnt have an active situation to doom over, quite the opposite, im just saying that the one retard who bitched (and dramanigs in general) would've still disliked the threadsplits because its not even dramafag/PL posting central besides some phase dooming here and there, even the Niji thread turned into a tongue in cheek Rosemi thread

I'm still very much morally against loli, but the absolutely demented streams of seething, puritanical vitriol spewed about every character who doesn't pass the seven-head test by the 'anti-loli' crowd cut me so cold that I ended up softening my stance on the topic just to not be classed with those lunatics. Likewise, I was very much a Holo-skeptic for a while, and I still am to a degree. But the truly embarrassing tantrums thrown by some people about the fanbase getting its own space on the forum have managed to make me want Hololive to succeed and be the best vtuber company out there. None of that sentiment was reflected for any other thread, it was only ever Hololive. Something about people liking Hololive just brings out a special sperg in onlookers that I can't fathom or bring myself to care about.

I think what @frz was insinuating is that they, along with other forum members, don't care to document things as much in the wake of the thread split as they did beforehand. I think this is a somewhat understandable position, as posts made in less popular threads (such as the small indie thread) will be viewed by a small fraction of the people who would view a post made in a popular thread (such as the general thread), and so people are less likely to put effort into properly documenting and writing up posts that won't get tons of visibility. Of course you could just say "make your post in the general thread then" but that defeats the entire purpose of having dedicated threads to begin with...
