But is it really true that paying for song covers is what made MyHoloTV go broke? Other corpos like Phase Connect manage to pay for song covers without an issue. I think there were more serious underlying issues than whether the corpo was paying for song covers or not.
simple phase got lucky enough to self sustain, looks like TV never got the eyes it needed to stay afloat so most marketing came out of pocket.
this is the reality of bussiness even with a market and a good plan you can easily be crushed by the costs of operating. It's why a lot of local businesses die

Since we're back on the PL stuff and I'm just done catching up.. just had to reply to this one:
We're talking about my same post, right? Making it sound like I'm some random who came out of nowhere stirring up shit. I know I don't post all that much, but I've been here from the start..
This post was last November. After a couple of replies at the time, I never mentioned it again.
Once again, the intent was never to put personal information on display - only linking "past life" vtuber accounts.
The only grey area that came up was twitter accounts, but you must not confuse personal accounts, which may have varying degrees of personal information, with alt accounts. Alt accounts typically still relate to vtubing, but post things they wouldn't normally want to make public on their main account. I believe this information is relevant to include on the chart.
Lastly, if I ever did make this thing, what would happen realisticly? I would make a post about it here, some people would look at it, I'd get some stickers (hopefully including at least one migo and one thumbs up), and that'd be it. It would be there online if people want to go and reference it, but it's not like it's being broadcast for the whole world to see.
