46 school shootings and only 34 deaths? I question if these are actually school shootings as we know them, or if there's a lot of failures (must be blacks, as we know whites, and especially asians, get the bodycount when they actually do shootings).
"School shootings" as we know them are a specific thing in the public mind, and not the mere act. When someone says "school shooting," what comes to mind is something like Columbine. Back before then, in the early 90s, and throughout the 80s, it was joked a lot about being a boy and getting shot in school due to how common it was.
But the difference was these weren't the "school shootings" was we know them today, these were incidents where a gang member would shoot another gang member, or a student who had a personal grudge against another student would bring a gun and shot them, and only them. Quite different from a kid going to school with the intention of causing as much terror and death as possible and then offing themselves.
