I know I rag on the holo-acolytes and whatnot, but at the moment all I want is for the year to end without anyone else graduating, goddamn.

Takeshi gets called a ding dong bing bong, rice farming, failed abortion of a nuke dodger, whose grandfather Vesper bayonetted at Guadalcanal once, and he sinks the whole company, sad.

This has been a rough year with a lot of big hitters graduating/becoming affiliate (whatever that means).

Like seriously what is Hololive doing that these 3+ year long talents have been wanting to leave?

at this point Yagoo or someone needs to make a statement about what is happening with management cause this gonna affect how fans react and how they will look to the public in general.

Fauna is basically resigning in protest over what management is doing
Does this have to do with the new direction of the company the shareholders are pushing?

It's just a rrat but the timing of the statement regarding the direction the company wants to move in combined with the loss of several major talents seems to suggest Hololive is pushing too hard into the song-and-dance media aspect of the company and moving away from streaming to some degree, which is what the fans care about more than anything.

Whatever is happening at the company needs to change, and fast. They're not just losing a few talents that just don't vibe with corporate culture like Vesper, these are some of their biggest draws jumping ship.

And, let's not beat around the bush; Gura very likely is considering leaving. By her own admission she suffers frequent burnout, and I don't think she even wants to be the marquee superstar that she is. If she is considering leaving I have a sneaking suspicion Cover is bending over backwards to make her happy and keep her.

Something about their business model has shifted behind the scenes in a way to that is chasing off their best people. Yagoo needs to course-correct before they lose someone massive they can't afford to part with.

inb4 Yagoo went too hands off and middle management got too many bright ideas like it usually goes with rapidly expanding companies

>no affiliate, straight graduation
>no claim of an amicable understanding, stated she wasn't leaving because of streaming or idol shit, actually blames management

Are we going to get another "announcement" in a few weeks?

Now every gen has 4 members. Well 3.5 with Gura. And technically 5 with Fuwamoco so the joke doesn't actually even work.

I don't know really. Advent and Justice both have had great chemistry and good viewership across the board. JP seems to be doing as fine as always, Subaru, Miko and Pekora bring in huge numbers every time they stream. If Gura actually does graduate too then maybe it's a bigger sign. But Cover is still expanding and not doing it in a reckless way in my view. I think they'll bounce back, it's just sad that Fauna's leaving because there didn't really seem to be much of a sign of it happening.
