It is honestly kinda worrying though. Aqua and A-chan were more understandable as they were at it for 6-7 years by the time they wanted to go. Of course the company would be completely different from when they joined and goals would eventually misalign. Chloe came in at the end of 2021 though and Holo was her dream job. It's hard not to think about whatever change in direction would make her want to go.

This is what has me a little concerned as well. Curious as to what direction they've been going in the last three or so years that have moved away from a few members who didn't want to continue along. As far as we know, it could just be feelings in only a few talents, but hopefully Cover is trying to work with everyone to have some common ground with whatever.

Whatever the case, I see no point in dooming-and-glooming. Going to stay optimistic about Cover's operations and chalk this up as a coincidence rather than a pattern. I also see no reason to sperg about DEI shit related to this as it was mentioned unprompted here with zero actual indication that's a problem in Cover.

As for Chloe herself, I never watched her and know very little about her, so this news hasn't hit me hard, but it's still a shame to hear. It's especially a shame to hear part of the reason is due to health related issues. I wish her the best with her health and her future endeavors. I hope she'll remember the good times she had as Chloe and be able to continue any relationships she made with friends during this time. I also wish her the best in her remaining time and that she has a great send-off with her genmates, the other talents, and her fans.

She can't say something like "Don't go" or "Please stay" as it would feel unfair. Because she loves them, she wants to support and cheer for them no matter what path they choose. But it felt incredibly lonely.

As lonely and painful as it feels, it's not bye-bye. She never really admitted it publicly but she loves Chloe. Not just as a fellow talent but as a person, she admires and loves her. She's been in Hololive for this long but hasn't really connected with too many members. That's why having Chloe there, someone who admired her so much, made her really happy.

Had to stop watching for a while after but she's currently laughing a ton and yapping about how she randomly cut her finger, so it seems like she got it all out. She sounded like she was gonna cry again at the beginning so it's nice to hear her in good spirits. Aqua and Chloe were the people she was closest to in the company and it must feel sad that they'll both be gone.
