Yeah, I wouldn't rule out being tired of bureaucracy, since it's something that's probably got much worse as the company's grown. I don't care for "talent freedom" bullshit, but every scandal, legal issue, miscommunication etc. can push a company of Cover's size toward the opposite extreme, since every problem that arises brings new rules and regulations to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Even in a mostly positive working environment where everyone's operating in good faith, there's only so many times you can have an idea rejected or have a project that was 90% complete shelved because of a legal technicality before you start to wonder if it's all worth it.
