Fauna is cute and funny. Gura is neither of those things. Unless you meant it as a way to bypass the wordfilter

Is this the Niji thread or the Holo thread?
Damn, I heard how bad Irys had it, but not as bad as that.

Incredible looking back to think back what the fuck the EN managers were smoking. Luckily, Irys got the support she needed, was folded into second gen (and I'm going to say that Sana, as lovely as she is, should not have been a hire due to her health issues. Irys should have been in her spot.) and actually getting songs that suit her and managers that are not utter dribbling retards.

Hmm. Would this also be at the time Holo got rightfully shit on for one of their JP talents getting harassed to fuck over an accidental model leak? Man, 2022 Cover Corp was a fucking shitshow.
EDIT: The Aloe incident was before this, so my timing was way off. Oops.
Mano aloe incident was around Myth debuts, if not slightly earlier.
So many newfriends, so few reps.
Mano Aloe shit happened in august 2020, Myth debuted on the 12/13th of september a good 2 weeks after Aloe got canned.

It's been a confusing 24 hours.

Its bizzare that they break the standard corpo fuckery of not really acknowledging PLs or ex members on Main, i know Holos have followed Dooby so maybe its not a Niji thing, but for the longest time it was conjecture that Niji seemingly didnt have that much PL flexiblity compared to Holo. I know some rrated that the lack of oversight on things like these happened right before the ID merge, so its really getting my nogging jogging on why or how this is allowed. Atleast Fulgur didnt have to bust out the PL to assure us Scarle wasnt dead again

Would be very funny if management suddenly swung back in full force and suspended everyone when they thought they had leeway.

That would be retarded but honestly possible.

Please understand. It's cute that gura gets away with not streaming. And it's funny that she has a grotesque subscriber count.

Gonna be honest, I hate Anycolor's rigging.

To be fair, IIRC, both Niji and Holo are using their own animation software rather than Live2D. It could be that Niji's riggers want to do better, and could do better, but they're finding themselves limited by the software they have to use.

That would be retarded but honestly possible.

Maybe, but I doubt it. It might be a "the merger's on and the managers have all checked out" thing like we saw in the last days of NijiID, or it might simply be a "they can't suspend all of us" attitude from the talents at this point - and they'd be right. Personally I'm leaning towards the former, but we'll see.

The people in pain here are probably his fans wanting a reunion. He is still friends with the Luxiem guys and has a very prominent reference to them in his stream background. He also said he wouldn't cover Bling-Bang-Bang-Born because it wouldn't feel right without them.

Fucking hell Kuro, no love lost with Nijisanji I see. He just practically confirmed the merge is happening soon. There's still, *checks date, two days before October ends.

C'mon Riku, give us the best month ever, let the slow death of NijiEN happen!

Holo use same Live2d Cubism engine, so their models are 100% compatible with VTube Studio even if they use their own shell app.

NIji use exclusively in-house rigging and started as a new app in the first place, so they might have 100% separate exclusive codebase. But main issue would be low payment and toxic culture. Any technical limitations and lazy rigging stems from this.

I will do based and reasonable take today and say that smaller interactions with retirees were never banned in the first place. Source: Vivi directly said there is no such rule on her stream with Sunny.
I bet the only real restriction is they can't stream with (fresh) retirees using niji identity or directly promote any alien accounts, as it's too much conflict of interests.

The thing is, we've been hearing these same excuses for Niji riggers for a long time now. I get that it's hard to start out in a worse situation compared to your peers. I really do. But for things to still be this bad for Niji riggers, for this long, means that there is just no real drive to change their situation. I'm sure they could do better-after all, it'd be hard to be worse - but the fact of the matter is that most riggers are not particularly prone to bettering themselves in the same way as "normal" people. They can bitch about the man in the big yacht keeping them down all they want but it's not like support is non-existent.

Its hard to believe that when it basically never happened before. :dokiSmug: Won't say it 100% has never happened, because it probably has.

Even if its not a hard "rule," its probably a very strong "suggestion" not to do it. With how many people drop out of Niji, something like this would be assumed to be happen fairly regularly if it was allowed.

It is very much a rule, because Quinn has confirmed that the rule was still technically in place after talking with Enna about it a month ago and Niji's explicit policing of personal accounts has been known since Niji brought it up in Zaion's termination letter. For some reason they aren't enforcing it anymore. Maybe Vivi has a different manager, maybe it's something that gets saved up for Niji's termination hitlists, but we know for a fact that it has happened and should still be going on but isn't. The Mogu collab with Sunny would NEVER have been allowed before, the Niji contract has been leaked and we know it's technically a breach of contract. The question is why the enforcement has changed.

Nijisanji riggers are not paid at all. They do all their work for free. I'm not sure how well this is attested to by independent sources, but I've now heard this from at least three different ones that I all trust to have no reason to lie.

Holo uses Live2D to my knowledge, they just use a different tracking app that isn't vtubestudio.

Why do they still work there then?

For termination - yeah, they might police it more. But contract leak outed that any such policies are utterly unenforceable. Especially private vs private accounts, no matter the situation.
My bet it was always enforcement by gaslighting. Technically, current streamers can do collab stream with blacklisted terminated ones on their private account. And if niji terminate them for it, they can sue niji and will win. And even be restored in position for whatever was left of contract term in they choose so. (If there were no other valid excuses for termination.) There is no conflict of interest when it comes to doing shit on private accounts, so any judge will toss out any rules about them, if niji dared to present them in court at all.

It really feels like a switch has been flipped some time last week. I obviously hope it's for a nice reason, but time will tell.

Free sloppy toppy from the livers.
That's how they trick them. They think they're getting something good out of it, then the monkey's paw curls and it's just Millie doing a bonzai drop on their face Yokozuna style.
