As the thread's resident Promisefag, this is 100% a correct take. Fauna's girlfriends Shiori, Nerissa, Bijou, Cecilia, and Gigi have done nothing wrong.Soon the Promisefags will descend on your post.

So you agree that the Council girls should have never debuted and Advent should have debuted instead? As the thread's resident Promisefag, this is 100% a correct take. Fauna's girlfriends Shiori, Nerissa, Bijou, Cecilia, and Gigi have done nothing wrong.
I agree that your opinions are invalid phaseoid. So you agree that the Council girls should have never debuted and Advent should have debuted instead?

My dick still works tho, that's all that mattersI agree that you are an invalid holokek.
The acceleration was part of the issue, pretty much. People was still trying to get to know with Noctyx and suddenly there's ILUNA appearing. Granted, it was also offset by some enthusiasm toward NijiEN going mixed-wave gen (something that some nijifans at the time wanted it to happen) after one-gender waves before, but in hindsight it didn't really show much.I do think that enthusiasm for ILUNA was already relatively low by debut, considering Niji's acceleration. Didn't help that the ILUNA talents were all kind of meh at debut, with maybe the exception of Maria.
Seriousface for a moment, I feel like Council was heavily nerfed by management. Mumei's stream content seems to have been restricted pretty heavily, Irys had her model debuff and management being clueless about English music output, Rrat exists for 3D concerts which didn't happen forever, and Sana was a hiring mistake.I've said before that if it was the Advent girls who were EN2 instead of Council, I would probably be a Holofag today. Cover really won back the crowd with Advent.

It's been a confusing 24 hours.

There was that recent Fauna stream where she said during predebut she was sent a badly translated summary of her lore which called her a giraffe instead of a kirin. Between all that and Omega, HoloEN management was wilding at that time. Kinda crazy how different mamagement seems nowadays.Seriousface for a moment, I feel like Council was heavily nerfed by management. If Council appeared at the time Advent appeared, all but the Sana issue would be significantly reduced or disappear altogether. Vice versa, if Advent appeared at the time Council did, Shiori would've been giganerfed (and probably called it quits), Nerissa forced into a damn near pure singer role only to fall flat on her face, and the retarded canines would've failed auditions because they didn't match Omega's ~lore~
It wasn't Niji tier bad, but even so, it can hardly be overstated how fucked Holo EN's management was in late 2021- late 2022, and how much fixing it helped later gens.
Council actually did pretty well despite the management nerf, all things considered.

It's also just very different when a member from a small, tight-knit group like Council or Myth graduates. Namie showed up on Youtube the other day and it made me remember how good she is as a streamer. There was that recent Fauna stream where she said during predebut she was sent a badly translated summary of her lore which called her a giraffe instead of a kirin. I think it's about the boundries the streamers themselves set. Same with real life faces. Nobody is going to get angry if you post Kuro's face under his VTuber account because he set the standard that it's ok, but if you start posting Karens face under Mori posts people are going to rightly get angry.Flipsie tagged mogughost on the vivi graduation announcement telling people to follow her PL. I think its retarded to do this. And sisters on twitter got really upset about it because " the corpo etiquette", but somehow their oshis dont even care themselves about the etiquette hitself. Why are nijisanji fans upset then?
Multiple things:Man I've quoted @Limkin on this before but it really does seem like NijiEN has less and less fucks to give with each passing day.

I used to think a branch merger happening this winter was too soon but shit maybe? Who knows? Will we get our presents this year for Christmas, let 2024 be the Fall of NijiEN?

I dont think posting a PL account of someone who's going to go back to said PL is the same as posting the IRL face of someone. Doubly so when Sunny herself tweeted about mogu + streamed with her 2 days ago. Also Mogu's friends even pointed in certain directions so i dont think the boundaries rules apply much there.I think it's about the boundries the streamers themselves set. Same with real life faces. Because it's funI don't know what you have against Promise that makes you gotta put words in my mouth like this.
