Back when I used to watch her, she frequently read super chats even one dollar worth super chats. Think of it this way, you a extroverted person send her money and she doesn't ignore it, it will make you feel good/emboldened because you get the attention from her and naturally feel incline to send her money again, and when you do this to a different streamer yet they ignored your super chat even if it's more than 1 dollar, you don't feel like sending them money again because they are not like Scarle.
No surprise that she's going back on "hiatus" after this wouldn't be surprised if Niji "recommended" she do the birthday because can't miss the chance to milk the sisters
