It's the best movie he's been in, but it's not a "Sandler" movie. He didn't write or produce it. I'd say Happy Gilmore is the best "Sandler" movie. His newest one Hustle is pretty good, but it's not a traditional Sandler movie and has a more niche theme, plus he didn't write it.

Pippa's right about friendship, but is a bit too much of a doomer. There's nothing wrong with understanding friendship in terms of mutual benefit and value, as opposed to something abstract. There's nothing wrong of thinking of friends of what they do for you, not in the "do x chore for me" but in the "what do I get out of this" type of way where you're aware that you're friends with someone because they inspire you, or offer good insights, or something like that. Sometimes those things change and you grow apart though.

I think people are too afraid to acknowledge those things, and because of that people end up in hollow friendships.
