In defense of her doctor, If he's good at his specialty and it's as far away from mental health as possible, I don't think she should leave, he just might not know what he's talking about. Can't expect your gastroenterologist to know much about neurology. Probably just have heard it from his patients "Oh doctor, I've been doing so well after my subscription to betterhelp..."
