Something that kind of bothers me about this is as much as rackets wasn't getting Pippa collabs he was still benefiting from the bit of back and forth that was going on. Pippa did raid him at least once and he did wind up being a topic of conversation more than once. I think in the long run even if he was just burning the last specks of good will he had with phase you know instead of absolutely closing off vtubing as a whole it still doesn't seem like it would have been worth it in the long run.

I don't think there was much to it. They did string him along for a bit, but it was when Phase was new and having issues, so it probably wasn't malicious as much as them trying to survive.

Nick has somewhat thin skin, so he probably just got very offended that some small corpo didn't take his "charity" when offered and it was probably one of the first times in his youtube career that someone didn't treat him like his was the big shit in the room. Probably did a number on his ego to be told by a Canadian Fish Leaf "Thanks, but no thanks."

That would have worked too as a joke. Or a picture of a literal rabbit. There are ways the joke could work, but the way it was structured was fucking weird. To them, as long as they don't attack her directly, all is fine and they haven't burned any bridge, because they in turn only care when others go after them directly and not the people around them (because they don't actually have friends).
