The flaggot guarding is super gay. Also, it's funny how he talks about repressed sexual parasocial relationships when he runs an entire Locals community centered around random wine moms and gay men sending him nudes and encouraging him to shove whisky bottles up his ass.
Good to see he still likes whining about vtubers completely destroying him in superchats. He's definitely right about there being some insane fans in the vtuber community who get way too parasocial with some vtubers and that's definitely a problem. But a lot of internet celebrities have insane fans like that. Heck, I'd say Rekieta's gaggle of wine moms on locals are just as insane and parasocial as some of the vtuber fans he was talking about. Gotta say this clip just makes me agree more with Sakana's decision to not let Pippa go on Rekieta's show.
The part that annoys me is he's strawmanning what the actual problem people had this time was and just portraying it as a generalised muh digital girlfriend thing, when a significant chunk of Pippa's fans who were vocal about it were just pissed that Camelot had put her in an uncomfortable position; not to mention anyone with any kind of experience in the public eye should be able to recognise that only a few of the death threats etc. are from people who're -actually- MATI and the rest are trolls trying to escalate the drama, like usual.
I have some major problems with certain people in Pippa's chat and on /pcg/ etc., mainly the predatory behaviour toward Pippa herself and the painfully unfunny running jokes, but the fanbase she's attracted is not even slightly comparable to the unicorn-friendly GFE girls' fanbases that Nick's talking about, it's a blatant misrepresentation.
You just have to look at the people bending over backwards to defend camelot to see that every fanbase is full of over eager retards

I thought the collab could be interesting. I didn't know much about Nick, just a couple of weeb war things. Could've been interesting to get some of his legal perspectives, and Pippa's always had good interview streams. But I understood that even a non-political stream might bring the wrong kind of attention to PC, so it made sense to me that Sakana stopped the collab.
In hindsight, it's becoming a better and better decision. At this point, he feels like a guy who saw an opportunity for clout, it fell through, and now he's salty about it.

"While he is right that unicorns do exist, he's completely ignoring the actual issues. He skirted over the whole "illusion shattering" and didn't even mention the issue with Camelot's "apology". In that outdoor video he did, he said that people weren't happy with that "apology" but he completely left out the part about the "apology" spelling out PHASE IS GAY. All that showed is that Camelot is a butthurt fag that was upset that people told him he was doing something wrong and he didn't even really apologize, which was what really poured gasoline on the fire. Even his stance about the unicorns in general was hypocritical. While he does try to pretend he's not a hypocrite by admitting that parasocial behavior isn't limited to vtubers and he may have it in his fanbase, he still pretends like there isn't a cult of personality that develops around ALL content creators. Saying that some drama fag content creator like Hassan doesn't have insane cultists is wildly disingenuous.
Overall it just becomes blatantly clear he's enormously butthurt that not only did vtubers just blast by tards like him, he's upset that he's blockaded from this dedicated audience. If he has more than 3 brain cells, he'd know none of the big agencies will ever let their talents interact with his dumb as fuck drama shit. Which is why he's super butthurt about Phase blockading him because they're the "edgy agency" and were suppose to be his way in.

And let's not forget, Camelot saw Lumi's comment as a legitimate death threat he needed to be concerned about, and then laughed and gloated about her account being banned for it. He also has a history of using DMCA and other means to get people's channels banned.
The fact that Nick glosses over that is just him being a prick.
The collab should have happened. These are new issues that have arisen after they first came into contact, and at the time Phase stringing both him and Pippa along when both of their fanbases were constantly pestering about a collab was grossly unprofessional.
As for Nick in his current state, just a couple of days ago I gave him credit for knowing how to read the room, which I based on the fact I've never seen him refer to "roommate"-related things when the normie degenerates in his audience are probably curious if the anime girl he talks to sometimes is hot irl or not; as well as the fact he went out of his way to wish Pippa well both on stream and privately after she had that breakdown while live a while ago, which gave the impression he genuinely cared about her beyond just using le based pink rabbit as a meme then forgetting about her like plenty of other people in that situation would have.
This situation is making me rethink that position, because even if he is still bitter that Phase blocked the collab a bit of common sense should indicate that, like with Camelot's little stunt, him very publicly complaining about the company she's contracted with while he's known to be chummy with her on Twitter puts her in an awkward position. A few posts here have compared his decline to Ralph's and while I think he still presents himself in a more respectable manner than that, losing his principles could absolutely be what plants the seeds for a rich and bountiful harvest sooner rather than later.
