Also Gen 4. Someone back in 2021 told me that the latest gen to get 3D would have their fes debut in their normal outfit and get idol outfits the next time. I don't know if such a tradition existed though or if the rumor was just parroting what ended up happening with Gen 4.

Ao said a while ago that they were told they'd only be able to have their current idol outfits for this Fes. Both the girls and the fans weren't really happy with the decision though. Ririka looked adorable up there but yeah it was kinda awkward lol.
