Reminder that the late Pomu Rainpuff, one of the Nijisanji EN OGs, got told that management didn't think that EN was deserving sponsorships.

Think about it: there are retards joining a company that is cutting your legs out from under you from the start.

Sadly, unless your indie career is better, people will almost always take any corpo opportunity because you're guaranteed at least some kind of boost. For example Shoto would never have to join a corpo or Vshitstain, but assfuck mcgee with 7 viewers for the last 4 years would likely try his hand and even if he hits 100 ccv after joining, he still has merch (better than no merch) and still guaranteed some kind of return versus being a 7 view nobody getting nothing. I think their biggest mistake is thinking they can pump and dump niji like some previous ex-livers did and gained more support (and money) after leaving.

Last time we counted, and if you are Finana level of streaming hours to income ratio then flipping burgers is better depending on your state. Maybe people joining on the premise of "it's better than what I have right now" are being a bit too optimistic how much their situation will improve

Rakuten seems to have really fucked them. They released a longer statement about Rakuten fucking up Salome and NijiFes tickets in general, along with an announcement of postponing ticket applications/lotteries for two upcoming concerts by Tsukino Mito and ROF-MAO. Sounds like they're getting rid of Rakuten in favour of another provider or maybe their own system.
The people affected by Rakuten's service will receive apology gifts and partial refunds.

Not a NijiL in the strictest sense, this seems to be on Rakuten completely. The new jannies can move it to general if they think it fits better there.

I don't know how much they were married to Rakuten for tickets previously, so I can't entirely say that this is already a reaction to that, but the timing certainly makes it seem likely. Tsukino Mito's concert tickets will now be sold via eplus. This is on pretty short notice, so I don't think this will necessarily have to be the permanent solution for future events.

Little anecdote from visiting the Artist Alley in Anime Impulse LA Day 1: The people that were selling Niji stuff generally had NijiEN up to Krisis at most. I think there were a few prints of Clawmark? There was also a suspicious lack of Aster fanstuff being sold/shown off. But to be fair, the Niji events were happening Day 2 so more vendors could have offered TTT, Denauth and Aster stuff/their fans might have arrived then.

The one on archive.is are from 26-27 june 2024, so it might not be a clear time estimate. That said, for Klara the banner is her with her name on it.


While on Ryoma, it's him on the center with Denauth's name instead of his own.


Wayback Machine has snapshots from mid-2024 all the way to 2025 last january but it didn't show shit, so this the best I could find. I am guessing that something will happen, but who knows.

This might be tempting fate, but I was backreading the thread to find a bit of info I was looking for, and I found it quite funny how ubiquitous talk about the impending merge was for pretty much the whole time, how NijiEN wasn't going to be around by the time the new studio is finished and so on, including that one time where 4chan leaked that it was totally going to happen in July.

And that in turn reminded me how the minute purple Keem "confirms" the existence of the graduation queue, it stops being a thing.

I do wonder how the graduations are going to continue, because even I think there is probably some coming. At least one of Aster or Twisty will have to go, and one or two others might not be overly enthusiastic about renewing their contracts.

Considering we know that Niji unironically has a hate boner for the purple fag, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it turns out that they stopped it purely because he mentioned it to try to get one over him. This company is notoriously spiteful, even putting one of their talents back in the basement just to try to win a lawsuit against someone.
