Incompetency is a very common theme amongst failed VTuber agencies, and I’m surprised that nobody (aside from a select few) has learned a lesson.

Same for the black companies that still haven’t shut down, such as Nijisanji (yes, malice is definitely a major contributor to Niji’s badness, but so is incompetency).

At this point, I’m convinced that it’s safer to be an indie than a corpo VTuber. Hope V&U gets what they deserve and Serafi manages to grow despite this.

Gonna throw out the possibility that it's a V&U girl. There's a couple accs I see Yumia interact with including Goobi who appears to be a Gen4 V&U girl (Zeli), Mocha, and Noriko. I have absolutely nothing for Noriko, but Mocha's Twitch page mentions that she stopped streaming in June of 2023 due to her job which would not be dissimilar to her life as Mocha. Not very familiar with V&U but Gen 3 appeared to have debuted in July of 2023 and Gen 4 debuted in November.

I could be wrong, but I suspect this is more a sign of something possibly happening at V&U in the near future.

My main reason here is to confirm that Mocha is a pl of of VNU girl, in this case Suri Solari of Gen 3. Not only are the interests more or less the same with mgs, bioshock, tf2, and wwe.
But Suri is rather open on being a former TF2 competitive player:

Checked this out again. A couple of the V&U girls are actively receiving stuff on Throne via their alts. It's not unheard of for VTuber PLs, and not always a sign of trouble, but it is noteworthy.
