Yeah, to me it reads more like a badly worded way to say "we're not going to use your refunds to hurt Riro" than whatever doublespeak is being thought up here, but then again I'm also way too optimistic for my own good so it could go either way.
They should have stopped at "Refunds will not be coming from Riro Ron," if that's what they wanted to convey.

Aviel really needs to spend some of his money on a PR person. You're firing a talent for doing drugs on stream, having an unapproved sexual relationship with her manager and being a whore and tarnishing the reputation of your company, how do you fuck up the PR for that and look like the bad guy?

It's spicy because she explicitly crossed some of the most taboo lines a corporate vtuber can cross. There's a reason why "your oshi is a whore" is the go-to insult, it's because regardless of on-screen teasing or roleplay, there's a quietly understood rule that the vtuber isn't supposed to actually fly out and fuck you. Except this one did.
Aviel thot-patrolling her on the way out only made the situation bigger, because she now has an inescapable reputation. No matter what she does going forward, there is never going to be a kyOresu thread anywhere where this doesn't come up.
Even though vtubers are online entertainers, they are also contractors who are representing the company that hires them and advertises them as being their employee. This is not remotely the sort of behaviour that is acceptable in any sort of company. And with the information we have about the reasons behind other terminations in similar jobs, like Yuri, Riifu, or other people that were fired as vtubers, this is pretty spicy stuff.
well this is the first corporate e-thot vtubing scene ever had so yeah. If you compare to most drama the scene has then those are the non-issue one. Keyword on corporate, plenty of e-thot non-coperates vtubers or people just started out straight from pornhub, noone bats an eyes about them.
One of the biggest drama on this scene is a girl saying "It feels like an all out war" on discord, when talking about direct competitors. If you wanna know how "spicy" this scene is. If people want actual drama they would wants to stay in homeland. People goes here because they only want to indulge in petty drama.
Same reason why people watch vtubers, "because real girls are no longer feminine" and just thots.
To add, banks consider the porn industry, in general, to be the riskiest outside of crypto. If a company is well known to be related to porn, the interest rates on loans go up, and sensitive advisers flee. This can kill the corps, and more importantly, it harms the other members of the business. Reputation is everything in this industry, and if a business is not built from the beginning with this in mind, it's hard to readjust.
