I wasn't following this minor-drama back in 2017, didn't care for it, so I have to transcribe this old YouTube video :
Daniella (GGLadenia) had a small gaming channel back then, the video alleges she started mistreating and ignoring her fans during livestreams, mocking people who donate and such ("ignore that donation, it's from a shitty person"), not very far from some of the things she may say or do as Katta right now.
She became a major laughing stock when she started having some beef with another YouTuber (Guy Aslanov) that pointed at her behaviour, she said she'll call a "Cyber Investigator" on him, and like anyone who ever mentioned reporting to the "Cyber Police" ever on the internet, people couldn't stop bringing it up and making fun of her for months / years.
It continued with Aviel ("SpicyCrap" at the time having) and her having multiple curse-offs with many people over Twitter, Discord, Steam and more, and eventually she apologized and they both went off the grid to stop getting bullied.

TL;DR It's what you'd expect from teens with YouTube access

Personally, I remember her as ridiculous from a no-view vlog she uploaded with the clickbait title saying "I WAS ALMOST RAPED" and then its 17 minutes of her rambling about how she was walking home through a park and 2 random people happened to be in her general vicinity for a few minutes, without talking to her or really following her, she kept uploading nonsensical videos like that and getting loled at.

I found out about Idol by seeing an ad Daniella posted on multiple facebook groups a year before the debuts, saying they're looking for "18+ Female Israeli Gamers", the jokes immediately started rolling in about this being some sort of porn endeavor.
Honestly, when I found out it was a Vtuber company, I fully supported them and even did some art, I still support them, I just find drama hilarious.

Unfortunately, all the other Vtubers from HE including Nikki are "random" girls, couldn't find a single thing about them, there was a rrat that both Neo and Lily were somehow related to the managers (little sisters and such), Tomer, the manager that was fired, definitely had a GF at a time but is now listed as "single" on his FB, and he had that yab where he was talking to Neo during stream and she was talking back, laughing, some people rrated that they were in the same room.

No idea why Katta stays, I think she actually enjoys Vtubing just like how she enjoyed being a Vtuber back then, its not just a job to her, have you seen how much she tweets? there's that, and her saying she and Nikki made a promise to stick to it together as long as they can.
Looks like Vtubing isn't her long-term path, she'll probably stop when she starts school.

And it has quite a lot of reply chains so this number is heavily multiplied relative to amount of people who saw it. Basically twitter is using it's own system to pad the numbers to lie to advertisers how good the site is for them

Honestly while all this is kind of fascinating, none of it really paints Idol in that bad of a light. Even the guy currently spilling all of Katta's past is going 'eh I guess she's okay'. This is very much a bunch of revelations elevated by circumstances rather than anything particularly groundbreaking or tabloid-worthy.

I hope it stays that way. I'd like to go one month without something in the vtuber industry turning out to have a mega-sordid past that taints them forevermore.

This alone isn't enough to tarnish Idol, but it is the start of a paradigm shift for them, and their next move is what could make or break them.

Up until now Idol's entire business strategy has been to buy themselves good optics. Give the talents upfront funding and a generous revenue cut, pay clippers, pay for debut watchalongs etc., it's been easy enough to push a clean image in front of a significant portion of the community. Even the one minor drama I remember from before this (them taking forever to pay an artist they'd commissioned) was dealt with by giving the artist a bonus iirc.

The Riro termination notice has put an end to this image, and regardless of how we on the forum may feel about the content of the announcement post there are a lot of people who feel listing her crimes was in poor taste - and that's the kind of backlash you can't buy your way out of, because the sentiment's already out there and you can't put that genie back in the bottle. Everything they do going forward is going to be much more harshly scrutinised, and I feel it's going to get the ball rolling on the general public having a much more cynical interpretation of the company's financial "generosity".

In hindsight the announcement post giving clear details about Riro's misconduct feels out of character for Idol, and I think the only reason they went public rather than giving a generic breach of contract statement was because the staff member being involved put them between a rock and a hard place. Someone would have found out about their affair anyway because of course they would, it's the internet, and if the only acknowledgement from the company was a vague talent suspension and a manager quietly leaving then it could very easily be framed as them covering up a grooming incident even if that's wildly untrue; there's no way that kind of thing would be spun charitably. Volunteering this much information themselves might come off as unprofessional in the moment, but drawing attention to the other ways that Riro stepped out of line makes it harder for her/her fans/random shitstirrers etc. to frame her as a completely innocent party being abused by a corporation, it's a much more balanced image making the company's wrongdoing (being oblivious to a member of staff participating in an inappropriate relationship) the lesser of two crimes.

I wouldn't say it's a lie, just that the amount of times that it gets seen, and the amount of times it gets seen by unique individuals who haven't seen it before are two very different numbers. Especially on a platform where it's easy to repost something with your own take on the situation, so you could easily get served this post multiple times in a regular session of Twitter.

Making even more of a nothingburger is the fact that artist wasn't paid because he didn't send an invoice. They agreed to payment, the work was delivered and then he was just sitting waiting for money, and instead of sending an invoice (or email asking) he went straight to twitter to bitch about it. And idol had a reasonable excuse for this anyway because they were in the process of hiring and assigning a lot of additional staff members, so the conversation was lost entirely and no one knew exactly who is responsible for what. It did lead to assigning one guy specifically to do nothing but coordination of projects though. So I wouldn't count it even as a minor drama, making this one the real first problem
