I'm usually just a lurker here but I've been watching Lumi on and off for a long ass time so I figured I'd throw in what I know about Sei seeing as he was brought up.

Back in Cyberlive Lumi had a mod named Seishirou. She actually had way more mods back in the day compared to the two she has now, including Virial, but drama and schizo behavior caused her to fire all of them. Sei seemed to act like your typical "groomer" mod, he wanted to have matching discord roles with Lumi, commissioned porn of her being dommed, and donated a substantial amount. You know how /vt/ is, so back then (and still to this day) people were saying that he was Lumi's BF.
Sei got exposed through some leaked twitter DMs as a schizo who was spamming threads with gore, doxxing vtubers and bragging about it while acting like a cartoon villain.
Of course this spread around, all the girls in Cyberlive found out and this soured a lot of their opinions on Lumi, thinking that she must have known what a freak this guy was. Sei's leaked DMs here:
Lumi removed the guy as mod but he rejoined her discord under a different name, Melancholic, and was around for a few months before the full logs of his schizo behavior dropped in /asp/ and he was seemingly kicked from Lumi's discord in early 2022. This is the last time he was heard from publicly that I'm aware of. I won't go into the whole Cyberlive drama and why Lumi was hated unless you want me to but it seems kind of unrelated to the topic of this thread. I will say that Vera Vee was behind some of the worst things Lumi got blamed for.
As for why Lumi got so triggered by that TTS dono, I don't want to sound like a Lumi simp but I think it was just an unfortunate case of being one guy'd by some guy bringing up years old drama that she still has trust issues over during what was supposed to be a fun outfit reveal event. Like others have mentioned the guy who sent that dono still sends her schizo TTS donos fairly regularly from new accounts and shits up /pcg/ almost daily with timeloops about Lumi.
Her current mod, Xalamon (who is also the head mod for Phase) is largely harmless other than being a femboy. He's a buzzkill who power trips and talks too much in chat but other than that much of his reputation comes from being Henri's archenemy and the general hatred and distrust for Lumi's mods that has built up over the years. He did post an IP grabber in Matoi Miia's chat once though so he still is a creep, but there isn't proof of him being a dedicated schizo doxfag like Sei was.

I'd personally appreciate it if you guys both dumped whatever you know. Be it in the general thread, here, or somewhere like the /vt/ schizos thread on the forum. Just to document it. Part of the reason I like this forum is when guys who bothered to scrawl through the /vt/ archive catacombs surface to drop informative posts on things that may or may not be true.

I always put this out there - if anyone wants to put out information and either wants to make sure their words have weight without fully leaking who they are, or want to launder it through another source, myself and the other mods are more than happy to hear anyone out. Just DM us.

It kinda frustrates me because I like Lumi, and I want to KEEP liking her, but she insist to live on her discord hugbox and her past and present mods are some (or the) worst on all of Phase. Add to the mix all the Cyberlive drama, that changes on a weekly basis, and I find myself, honestly, not knowing what the fuck to make of her.

People have been saying they'll expose Lumi for being a horrible person for almost 3 years now and so far the only proof, and I say "proof" lightly, of her misdeeds against the other Cyberlive girls are these tweets from Hylo.

Is Lumi a hyper-competitive bitch? Absolutely. Does she have poor character judgement sometimes? Yeah. Is she a horrible person? Maybe, but I've yet to see anyone post definitive proof in the nearly 3 years I've followed her despite seeing people constantly make the claim.

It always looks to me like Lumi was just trying to use retail managing strategies to motivate the CL girls and they just took it horribly wrong. It's dum, but people say this shit to try and make their underlings be more competitive and productive and Lumi could have easily picked this up at some other job.

The problem with wink-wink "I know some things but can't tell you" posts is that people will assume you're talking about their favourite schizo rrat, which just validates it and adds fuel to the fire even if they're completely off the mark. It's usually better to either say everything or say nothing, because just feeding everyone scraps leads to things being misinterpreted.

A 26 year old Ventrilo groomer was flirting with her and tried to convince her to buy new jeans. She never said he delivered them personally or anything like that. At the time Lumi was 14 and staying in San Francisco with her mom while she was attending a conference.
The biggest reason this clip is still posted and brought up is because at the end of the clip Lumi says "he asked me to visit again". She clarified that she meant he just kept asking her to visit after she turned him down, but it's also possible that's just her attempt at recovering from slipping up.
After the end of the clip she continued talking about groomers and how chat shouldn't freak out so much at her stories because they are in the past, pretending they didn't happen at all is stupid, and reiterated that nothing actually happened with the guy.

Personally I don't think she met up with the guy in person, at least not at 14. I find it hard to believe her prudish, religious, college professor mother would sign off on her meeting up with a strange adult man from the internet, although it is entirely possible she did it without her knowing.
Like you pointed out, it also stood out to me that she somewhat kept in contact with him for a few years because she felt bad for him. She obviously knows now that he was a groomer and a freak for trying to get into the pants of a child but back then she was still so naive.
It's these past experiences that likely shaped Lumi into how she conducts herself on the internet today and are a large part of why she's so paranoid and why her opsec is quite good compared to most vtubers. However it also shows like you said that she is susceptible to being too forgiving of people who try to take advantage of her.

I really gotta stop sperging out about Lumi now, this thread has been completely derailed. Sorry about that.
