She actually got the model change because the OG model's artist disappeared from the face of the Earth right around debut, so she couldn't do anything to modify/update the model at all. Or get a coherent 2nd outfit. So she had to go with a totally different artist anyways. And if you look, Pochi 2.0 is much closer to her Fen Riru/Fluffen models than Pochi 1.0 is.
