They can just send other people to last year. The FAQ only talks about individual guests, not companies. The only ones that can't come as a guest in an official capacity are those 5 listed.
The reason Mozu paid is because all of them were there last year with the exception of the new girl and alpha, so they had no B-Team to send instead.

With this in mind, who do we think will be Cover's guests this year? My money's on Justice making up a significant portion of the official guests, maybe Autofister + Nerissa or something.

Who cares about the small corpos and indies bitching, they'll complain regardless. It's best to ignore them and do what's best for the con - in this case, allowing as much of Hololive to attend as possible to boost ticket sales and hope those attendees coming for Hololive check out the rest of the con while they're there.

If you are just hanging out with online friends you really trust all will be fine. The phaseyamanbas where all chill from my own experience they just wont be beating the gay and fat allegations. I didn't get anything stolen or people being weird to me. Traded some stickers with some randos and had some nice chats with them. I just hope it can keep the same vibe now that its in a bigger location.

Can't speak for off-kai in particular, but one thing that's always helped me at conventions: before you go, clean out your car completely. So clean as if you were selling it, without a single item or piece of change anywhere. Then when you park, open your glove compartment, ashtray, center console, etc, and make sure every inch of the car is visible from the outside so prospective robbers can see you're not carrying anything in the car. Assuming you aren't driving an expensive automatic or have an aftermarket radio, robbers will ignore you and look for more lucrative vehicles further down the street. I've left my car in all sorts of sketchy parking lots and trailheads doing this, sometimes for days at a time, and it hasn't gotten broken into once while other cars around me have. If you can't bring something in, better to leave it in the hotel room.

This obviously works much better if you drive a hatchback or SUV, cause robbers can see your "trunk" space easily as well: a buddy of mine who has a sedan cleans out his trunk and leaves a little note in the window saying "there's nothing in the trunk either". Not as effective IMO but he hasn't been broken into yet, so maybe it's still fine?

Not from any con I've been, but from my experience visiting the Bay Area (San Fran., San Jose, Oakland, etc.) vehicle break-ins are all to common in Northern California, especially around the Bay Area due to high homeless population. San Jose is relatively safe compare to that shit hole city that is Oakland, just be very aware of your surroundings and if you're traveling with a trusted friend(s) stay with them, a buddy system works wonders. Planning to rent car or drive your own? Park it in the convention's garage if available, you may have to pay for parking, but its better than parking it on the street. Take any valuables out the car and leave it in your hotel room.
