A vtuber you like a lot is backing the con that fucked over another vtuber you really like. They find it weird that you still like Mozumi after doing so because its a confliction with your morals.

Which they don't get the dumb games you have to play if you want to keep growing and getting eyes on your group. Like I really don't like the staff of offkai and a lot of the guest but its the only Vtuber convention in the states my friends and I can go all meet up at and have a fun weekend and buy some plastic crap.
Please someone make another Vtuber convention on the east coast or midwest I will fucking shill and back you so hard even if its dashcon levels on its first year.

My suggestion is to have more european vtuber conventions, it's easier to travel to and it makes burgers seethe, that's two whores with one stone.

This also confirms what I had suspected. Sponsors are exempt from the "no guests two years in a row" rule, since V-Dere was there last year as well.

Mozzu actually confirmed this on a members stream, it was stick to unofficial stuff through merch vendors or cough up the $10k to get on stage.

Did the convention intentionally try to blacklist any of them and then admit it publicly while blacklisting someone else who was the close friend of the talent they originally attempted to blacklist, then massively scuff all of their events last year? I don't see any equivalency here.

Edit: it was pointed out in private that I mixed up the order of things here in the initial post, I've updated.

Correction because I didn't remember exactly. Lysander admitted that Offkai tried to not have Pippa at their convention before in the DMs with Kirsche. This happened because Kirsche mixed Offkai up with a previous blacklisting attempt that took place at Youmacon, which wanted to exclude Pippa until Sakana said they took all of Phase or none of Phase.

When Kirsche made this mistake, she inadvertently got Lysander to confirm that Offkai had in fact tried something similar themselves. So by mixing up her cons, Kirsche ended up revealing Offkai was prejudiced against Pippa all along.

They had five people there last year and one of them was ID. They should be able to scrape together a new crew for this year.

They have mostly new people coming to other cons as well. There's rarely a repeat at Anime Impulse I think.
