She hasn't streamed in 3 weeks, at this point if half the branch straight up quits on the announcement of merge with JP in autumn it wouldn't be surprising at all.
Edit: Thinking about it, she doesn't even have genmates anymore since Petra was folded together with Ethyria. If she is out Niji can delete obsydia as a thing and act like it never happened to further memory hole Selen

Scarle still occasionally gets tossed into my feed, but even with her grinding she's ways down on CCVs. She's still able to generate some revenue, but those 2 videos from Riku & Elira has cost everyone in NijiEN hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's really wild to see just how much Anycolor completely destroyed the entire branch.

Anycolor has a ban on streaming on a PL, right? I ask because everyone should be on their PLs making their exit plans. This is basically dead with the deadweight of having a corporation over them.

Not just streaming. Any kind of PL activity that involves content creation besides just tweeting isn't allowed. As one applicant who did not get in long ago mentioned, they don't want you voice acting or anything either.

To compare, Holos are allowed to do anything on their PL besides say they're who they are of course and any form of Vtubing and I think the rules on vtubing are pretty strict: Nothing more than a static png. Otherwise, they can stream, make merch, voice stuff, etc as long as it never leads back to their holo identities in a blatant way.

The very few times I've seen a Niji do things besides tweet on PL it was deleted very soon after.

My favorite part is that january was the highest CCV for basically entire branch in the whole time of their existence, only rivaled by Luxiem debut time. So from YT point of view their channels went from insane ccv and high subcount to no ccv and quickly losing subs. All the tourists greedy for drama waiting for someone to slip up ended up hurting them immensely. You have Petra going from 1.1mln views to 200k views and losing 1-2k subs weekly. And don't even look at Elira's channel, it's just sad and miserable

They have exclusivity clause, yes. It's easily breakable in every jurisdiction, but it will require someone to bite the litigation bullet. (niji will be forced to either abandon any exclusivity ambitions or pay huge employment tax backlog, maybe salary too for worst performing streamers)

That sounds right for the Holos. Especially given several of them do IRL concerts as their PLs. Anycolor vs Cover is a good example of A/B Testing for contract decisions. What's been good for Anycolor has been pretty bad for their Livers, while Cover has had a much more symbiotic relationship for everyone involved. Sana/Namie might not have gotten the big jobs she had without being in Hololive, so even for the ex-members it's been solid.

I've posted about this in the past, but in terms of real world harm to a boycott target, even the biggest and most famous boycotts in history have barely done anything. The only times they have ever done anything are when a modern company's PR department pussies out and backtracks on something that hasn't seen significant investment yet: sure it "worked", but only because pencil-pushers can't stand seeing .05% less growth for a year. The bottom line is never significantly harmed for any significant period of time.
