Doubt it. She's said time and time again why she like it, even ignoring her own roots. She'd need to move past a lot of the issues she still has regarding trust and self-worth to even start that. And past all that, she's said she doesn't want to pull an Icuckz in regards to the person she is/was if she was to ever do a full shift, so I don't ever see her fully disavowing the thread.

I just think it's such a circle jerk of the same comments over and over that I don't see how a Vtuber can get anything from reading it.

idk scrolling over shit in a 4chan thread is a lot easier because people can just smash their keyboard and press enter without any repercussions. There's no name and no weight attached, so you can just disregard whatever you don't like.

I'm definitely biased, but I think its a few things. Firstly for her its nostalgic I'm sure. There are more than a few genuine posts between the shitposts and the bait, just gotta be willing to look for them. And sure, some people might be trying to use the thread to get her to do shit, but for every post thats like that, there are a handful that are supportive or constructive, and thats not even considering all the posters who talk about the other girls that she probably likes to read and catch up on streams and other shit like that. Do I think the mindset she's talked about regarding it is healthy? No, not really. But I can understand why she has it.

I'm aware I'm preaching to the choir, but I enjoy the forum format more because you still get enough anonymity that you can speak your mind while still having sufficient user persistence that you can tell which people are insane. It's not without it's downsides, but at least we don't generally have to deal with samefagging or rapeposting.

Not that they haven't weathered worse but a potential situation with "this account suspected to be Rie's lurker account left a heart comment on a post with the Yamanba word in it" just seems easily avoidable.

I can confirm that I am still part of the Phase Connect Discord despite joining deliberately a few hours after a frantic pearl-clutcher started spamming mod reports trying to warn them about the evil doxer forum that was talking about meatpippa or something. Never posted, but I haven't been kicked or anything.

Quite a few are known here and there, and anyone else who has been made by PC Staff hasn't been taken out yet just for forum affiliation.

I doubt sakana gives a shit unless people from here would start stirring shit. The only thing I'm fairly sure of is, that sakana forbid his talents from associating with TVA and other problematic entities in the vtuber sphere

but just "reacting to posts" isn't enough to "prove" anything. Also I think anything like this would be more so a "recommendation" rather than a ban, since the reasons vtubers wouldn't want to post are pretty obvious.
