I followed through poa.st (too lazy to move instances and don't know where to go), that showed up for a second or two and then said I was following. I don't think she actually has to manually approve them all, probably some kind of bug.

I think I'm in (also from poa.st). I dunno, it shows me on her followers list but not her on my following list. I'm too old for this computer shit.

Misskey apparently don't accept native UK or EU registrations because they somehow don't meet GDPR compliancy, which is odd given compliancy mostly amounts to disclosing what personal information they hold about you and giving you the option to have it removed. I don't think that alone makes it either shady and/or a honeypot, they might've just not understood the rules and got spooked they might get in trouble over a technicality, but it does make me raise an eyebrow.

Pippa

And so far only the first two use it with any frequency.

You don't move an account from instances, you mostly make a new one on the new instance and then enter the key from the other instance and it will make everyone following you follow your new account instead, but it doesn't transfer who you follow which is weird. The old account remains as is.

It makes it easier for those following you, as they don't necessarily have to follow your new account, but you can just as easily make a new account and let people find you again by posting a pinned post with the new ID.

All follows from non poast node will show up as waiting for approval initially. Refresh the page and it will show up properly. Now to see how long she can last with unbridled autism from the podcast race and troons.
