They really need to do away with these special stages and just do 4 regular shows. They've got enough members to make it happen now.

Probably next year with justice+flowglow though they've also lost 6 people. That leaves the actual gain on 3 extra performers.

Even with a perfect retention rate, Holo grows so slowly that it will likely take a long while for them to be able to have an extra stage with no repeats.

I'm not sure if the MCs are too long, or if they feel longer because I don't talk chingchong.

Either way I'd prefer them be cut down to make time for another song.

They could have changed things up a little or done a bit more, but I think calling it some level of bad is a stretch. I would argue if anything that the main stages are just so good that something decent looks weak. I agree that repeats are an odd choice but if Towa wasn't going to do Palette on main getting that on the side was pretty nice. Or the Gen 0 performance etc.
Biboo is done but I still have Mio to look forward to so getting a taste of both makes me pretty happy in the meantime lol

I think the big problem is how it's advertised. If they told people from the start, "Hey, your oshi is only getting between 1/2-1 of a song and we're putting Marine in every fricking song" then they would manage expectations better and not be as disappointing.

Well I can't blame anyone for feeling that way. I'm not sure how it's advertised offhand, but I swear their other "extra" stages have been handled in similar ways. Clarifying it on their site and promotions wouldn't hurt anybody. I always assumed it was promoted as a big mishmash.

So, the special stages are themed so people kinda of know what is going to happen. DECO stage and Honey Works stage will sing those songs and now this year it was talent OC songs. So I am curious if the general audience will be satisfied. If yes I think Cover will greenlight more money to OCs. Which is a good thing but the extra stage just isn't as good.

I think the song selection and general show production could have been better if Cover is aiming to advertise their own OC as a stand alone EXPO concert. I assume that's what they want. Aside from that, if the show price is going to be equal to a 3 hour show then throw everyone a bone. Say, the MC sessions are downloadable and in person they get a custom card. I am watching anime girls, it's not like your feet are being held to the fire.

Kinda curious if they're gonna be able to close strong with STAGE 3. Most of the powerhouse vocalists are done.

At this point, I just treat the special stages as a bonus so it's easier to accept whatever fuckups they have. But on to more important matters:

• While not as stacked with power singers as the first two stages, we have high levels of kino with Mumei, Gura, Kronii, Iofi, Sora, Fubuki, Okayu, Ina, Roboco, Mio and Aki
• Botan singing Hikari on this stage is going to be an emotional nuke. The roof might immediately leak here
• All of Gamers is here. Bring in Subaru and Ayame and we could have an OKFAMS reunion for the first time in years, chances are they'll sing their original song though.
• Guaranteed adorable banger with Ina
• Guaranteed sex with Choco, Aki and Lamy
• Korone will somehow do a 1080 flip twice
• Subaru

I know the chances are slim, but I'd lose my mind if Subaru were the final solo performance this time. But I gotta admit Fubuki and Miko have had an amazing year and definitely deserve it. Roboco deserves it off seniority alone. I don't think it'll be Sora this time since she was the finale in a previous Fes. But if it were the duck, I'd be a very happy man.

Either way, see you fellas in 3 hours

Not exactly the same, but they kinda did something similar for the HoneyWorks stage last year.
If you look at the setlist, some talents like Reine and Aqua only appeared in big group songs, and they were not advertised as part of the lineup.

It's very much a hidden gem stage.

- sora, Mio, Aki,mumei(if she wants to) are still absolutely great singers
- roboco has the most unique singing voice
- korone and Subaru can only be topped by haachama in energy and are very unique in other ways
- the jps eat from guras lazy hand

And so on and so forth.
Just saying the staged is undervalued

I slept over the creators stage but I feel fine. I even made me an alarm at 4am but then I just didn't feel like really getting up

Anyways, I will track down a recording for the Irys Kiara sparks and for Towa Palette in da Box.

Sparks with Irys of all people is kind of ironic because for a very long time people thought that Irys and Kiara hate each other. Not just because they didn't collab (and still have only done 1 (uno) 1-on1) but because the OmeGays faggy THE CUBE video dropped DURING Kiaras 1st Birthday Stream and basically killed the momentum of the release of sparks.

I remember back then, people would come in her chat and ask about THE CUBE on the HoloEN channel but she had no idea what it was either.

Anyways good to see that Irys and Kiara stopped hating each other
