I felt everyone's performances in Stage 1 was just remarkably strong. Stage 2 was more going-through-the-motions songs, with standouts that reached higher highs, but on average was less strong.

Yeah, same here. Stage 1 had the strongest heavy-hitters, Suisei, Towa, Moona, Watame etc, but Stage 2 definitely struck the heart more with stories like AZKi's, Kanata's, Iroha's and of course Shion's.
The only thing was that Stage 2 had worse camera work for some reason. Bae's and Lui's were just outright bad and I hope the blu-ray fixes it. But otherwise, that was fantastic. The standouts for me were AZKi, Bae, Kanata, Lui, Ao Iroha, Shion and Risu's. Shoutouts to Marine Kobo and the ReGLOSS girls for being amazing dorks too.
See you fellas tomorrow for Day 2. Lemme just say in advance that I will become an entirely different creature when this woman goes on stage:

Watching stage 2 rn, up to Ao's solo. So far it's slightly weaker than stage 1, but the camera issues get mostly resolved after the poorfag cutoff (prob because the director had time with the MC to yell at people to get their shit together). My only regret is they kinda butchered bae's insane performance.
I've been checking Nyaa.si throughout the day but doesn't seem anyone's uploaded anything yet. Which is kinda weird as for last year's Fes, the entire stage video was on Nyaa a few hours after the broadcast ended.
