The recent dramatuber hate has come from them having no spine of bantz and deciding to get offended at very convinient times to deflect any criticisim of somewhat parasitic retardation, False also deepthroated Brave, admittedly squirmimi is also a retard, he just used her as a way to label both her and ilou as retards when Ilou seemingly had a better ground to stand on, so he just talked about her for a minute and called it a day.

Its so strange to see you bat cape and sword for False specifically, he is someone who is not honest, he has atleast a corpo, VSJ, on his good graces and he is given some advance info for his show, you cant trust the jouranlistic integerity of a retard who wants to appear as a voice of reason and muh 'tegrity while accepting exclusive scoops from the biggest EN corpo. I want to make it clear that all these things are true. I disagree with none of them. My point is simply that assertions like 'dramatubers do nothing in this industry' or 'everyone hates dramatubers' just aren't true at all. They are a part of the vtuber ecosystem, and contribute to it in various ways. Note that I said contribute, not improve. Careers have been boosted by people like False, and careers have also been sabotaged by people like False. I don't like him, but I know that if he vanished tomorrow someone would take his place immediately, and he also couldn't operate if regular vtubers weren't willing to tolerate and deal with him.

Edit: Just to be completely clear, I have the stance that hating someone requires you to understand them at least as well as if you like or even love them. Hatred that can't be used productively is no use, because it becomes a resource for the source of your hatred to use to discredit you.

Too often the positives are ignored because "OMG they covered some drama too". I wonder how much of a boost the former PixelLink girls got from False shouting out their PLs last week plus giving promotion to Raki's donothon.

I mean I get it. We have some peeps with perpetual antagonizm syndrome, who really ask to be banned.

As a minor tangent, it struck me recently that controversial people are significantly less likely to get banned or censored in many corporate spaces than they are independent spaces. They might get called out and insulted, like Tenma did above, but they're massively less likely to actually get removed.

My somewhat contextual evidence is that I fairly regularly find myself banned from the chats of small indie vtubers (pre-emptively, since it's usually raid targets from the vtubers I normally watch who I've never interacted with before), but I've never been banned from any channel with an average CCV above a few hundred. I can hang out quite openly in Phase Connect, Variance Project, SVP, etc. I'm very, very open about disliking people like Rie and Lumi(lemon) for various reasons, but I'm not banned in their chats either.

My guess is that it's to do with optics. Bigger channels and corporate interests don't want to be seen 'punching down' at people like me, because while I have a personal stance that a streamer has the right to eject whoever they want from their chat at any time and I'm not going to make a fuss about it, I'm sure that if False was banned in a corporate discord/stream chat he'd have a field-day with it, so there's a kind of informal mutual understanding that whoever shoots first just ends up giving ammunition to the person they're aiming at. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it and I genuinely just don't get noticed in bigger chats.
