From how Meimi Majokko described it to her audience when she joined GlitchStars sounds quite a bit like V-Dere or like trying to be "VShojo Lite" where everyone coming in is already established and keeps their IP and the company is more about helping them get sponsors and merch deals and such.

They have only one former member according to their vtuber wiki entry, for whatever that's worth. I've never heard anything bad about them and they seem to be a decent refugee centre, so I'll be cautiously optimistic.
