I checked how he covered idol stuff:
Jan 21: "youtube shut off vtubers income", mentions the demonetized girls but lump in some indie to make it like youtube just fucking up. Then spent the other half talking about v4mirai girls getting remonetized.
Jan 24: "more vtubers turn to twitch as it is a superior platform": Poko, Cersea, & Riki,
Jan 31: "Brave Group vtubers switch to twitch": same as above, with Daisy, Yae Yugiri, Enya, Poma, Serina

I don't remember him ever mentioning Brave botting.
I could understand keeping silence in attempt to salvage vtubers income, but he lost journalistic integrity there even without any potential paychecks from Brave.

When Bloo "came back to life", Midas volunteered to make a new model for her because she sympathised with her claims of heart issues as Midas' mother seems to suffer similarly. She also apparently posted about it but I didn't see the posts and they're deleted now so idk. Soon after that the faking allegations started to come up so Midas has now removed her tweets promoting Bloo and made a tweet explaining that.

I frankly didn't look into Bloo enough to have a clear opinion on whether she's faking, but the possibility that Midas worked herself sick because she thought she was doing something nice for a stranger and it might have all been a lie & now she feels guilty by association, is pretty upsetting.

Edit: I actually wish Bloo would just cut the talk about this shit and start acting like a normal VTuber because the more she fixates on it the weirder it will seem to the average person. Even if everything is true people are capable of forgiving women for far worse deeds (or in VTubers cases, brushing it off as menhera making good content, hell isn't riro still active?) but if it's all she talks about she's about the become the towns crazywoman who's talking to herself about how she's not crazy while everyone ignores her.
