So Purple Keemstar on his stream last night is insinuating that the ex-Globie talents who were terminated are lying about being suddenly terminated because they reached out to him before any of the tweets hit.

Semantics, but depending on the timeline, you could still very easily use "suddenly" even if you actually knew. I dont think Brave being possibly malicious/incompetent hinges on talent not actually being 100% blindsinded by the news, and even then talent could still know everything but the "when" and it would still count to me as sudden.
And as people have said, Ilou was on record saying she wanted a graduation before being terminated.
