I would think whatever attorney River (HF's CEO) is consulting would be advising him not to post such a document. I also think it would be better if he left out the "I've been losing money on this thing btw" part at the beginning but not having seen the stream he's replying to, maybe I'm missing context.
An indie "Eldritch Space Pirate Lewdtuber/ASMRtist/Villain/Memelord" named Adonis Thuul QRTed the Hero Factory tweet and dropped his own doc about maltreatment by River at Twitchcon:
The PDF for that one was small enough to attach. tldr is that Adonis was supposed to be a "promoter" for HF but was instead treated as a servant, made to carry bags, give up the bed in the room he paid for, fetch water and the like. Definitely on the tame side of the scale of Twitchcon horror stories but if true it speaks of River being a bit of a prima donna.

I don't feel like I know all that much about the situation yet and certainly can't say if anyone is really right or wrong but from what I've seen so far, the CEO and the talents all seem like young people who are trying to handle Professional Business Professionally but going about it rather poorly.

First time I saw ironmouse was around that time and she was cloutchasing really hard even then so I never had this "respect" for her.

At this point I don't know if it's really respect for her or fear that even the slightest criticism of her will get a legion of mindless simps on your ass pulling the disability card to cover all of her many flaws because that's the only thing that makes her stand out and gives her an advantage over everyone else at this point

It really does feel that way from the replies I've seen. The Ceo was way over his head in doing ambitious projects without any of the skill nor money to properly make it work. And after some digging, it turns out the whole inciting incident was that the entire Gen 1 Vtubers under Hero Factory decided to terminate their contracts simultaneously and it caused this absolute mess of a dumpster fire later on.
Edit: It gets even funnier mates. That guy on the top left? He's simultaneously the Ceo and a vtuber that streams under his own branch while also working full time as a 'boss' with his genmates. I think everyone involved has absolutely zero idea on how to manage a corpo.

That answer is yes unfortunately. The combination of her illness and the fact she wanted to achieve her dreams played a lot into the intial positivity and reception of her career. Many sympathized with her as this sad young girl who just wished to fulfill her lifelong goal as an idol in spite of her disability and it made for a good sob story. Even to this day, Hololive members still cite her as this pillar of vtubing and pioneer. It's definitely a lot of rose tinted glasses that keep this imaginary respect she has around her audience.

Ironmouse is pretty much the face of vtubing for twitchfags and her bubblegirl side makes it an easy sell for pity/shield for criticism

It was so transparent it might have well been out of Oprah Winfreys playbook on how to accelerate fame. A small update to the Hero Factory vtuber micro corpo implosion. Some digging led to me finding the Ceo's social media links. His Bluesky caught my interest and man...I was not ready for the picture he posted on his public main. (If you don't want to look, it's a hairy bearded man in a maid outfit.)

Regarding the Hero Factory situation, someone named Konotomo, who claims to be a lawyer, is going over the HF doc as well as a spreadsheet listing out the talents' complaints - if that spreadsheet is public somewhere I haven't been able to find it. He's over an hour in now so I'll probably download the VOD and rewatch it from the beginning once he's done. River, Podge, and SocksPR of all people have been in chat.
Also, apparently the Podge VOD is available after all. I'm downloading it and will give it a watch.

I for one have absolutely no idea how an industry reliant on exploiting naive young women's influencer dreams attracts shady figures out for pussy and a quick scam.
If you estimate a cost per vtuber to be about 5k and you launch a 4 member first gen, that already puts you 20k down. And there is no guarantee you will bang any of them. If you have 20k budget to work with, starting a vtuber agency to fuck a girl is questionable at best
