Reminds me of that one retard that Kirsche checked out (the one that apparently got thousands of views as a generic white "vtuber" but it turns out he was probably botting) which Dexerto reported on. Due was bitching because he didnt get support from Twitch to grow in like 3 years. As if the platform needs to boost his ass just for being black. Fuck those kinds of people. I hate people like this so much because they expect everyone to hand everything to them in a silver platter.Yes, I'm sure it's because the entire vtuber audience is primarily interested in suppressing the success of black people simply because they're black. It has nothing to do with the commonality of black creators throwing a hissy fit when they don't blow up and become overnight sensations simply for being so brave as to be born black. This demand for special treatment is the same kind of tone as trans/queer folk and their cries for equality and special treatment. They want to be treated and seen as equal to "The Whites/The Heteros", but as soon as they're subject to the same kind of treatment that their paleskin cishet counterparts receive they have a meltdown because turns out, being someone in a position to receive attention from a crowd is subject to a lot of unnecessary bullshit and almost invariably someone is going to draw negative attention for no real reason. Overwhelmingly, folks that push through it and ignore the negative attention parts are going to be "majority" crowd types because they don't tend to have special hangups on racial or sexual identity to feel like the bog-fucking-standard level of baseless hate received is personal attacks on their person.
This bitch here having a tantrum because, what, people are objectifying them? You mean to tell me that being subject to a lustful eye is so inherently intolerable that you can't possibly accept the idea that a creator in a space as wantonly infested with degenerate coomers thanks to the v-thots that weaponize cartoon titties for clicks and views, would be subjected to male gaze? You think you should be specially immune to being objectified when the damn near entirety of entertainment media is built on the back of selling sex? You silly bitch. That is why you won't succeed. Not because you're black, but because you think you're special and deserve special treatment, but the secret is that true equality means getting treated just as shitty as the white people are treated.
Hylo was doomposting earlier and I would assume it had to do with numbers. The Mythos girls had huge debuts as far as small-group Vtubers go. But the numbers seem to have dropped drastically. I don't really care enough about the old Cyberlive bullshit except when she kept bitching and bringing shit up which my reply back then was that she should stop bitchin' and moaning about Lumi and she should focus on herself.
Why are their numbers down so much?
1. The marketing campaign was not optimal. They should've delayed their debut and just released the Charlie teaser. Their teaser was hyped by everyone because they had Moistyboy on it and everyone lost their collective shit over it. They should've held on and blueballed everyone but they blew their load too fast. Every "drama" channel commented on them, most did watch along, and hell even the other non-vtuber channels that can be considered orbiters were hyped around them.
2. Twitch FUCKING SUCKS. Stop playing into the stupid "discoverability" shit that gets parroted around by random 2-views. But YouTube is a problem because if you dont have a channel that's alive or that has any sort of content, starting from 0 is horrible. They should've posted content to YouTube a month prior to debut to boost their channels. Pretty sure Zeus and Hades can sing really well. Post some legit song covers (with the obscured models and other shit) or maybe some other shorts including maybe lore dumps and other crap to hype the brand. All of the freaky shit the Greek gods would do would even make decent short content. Go a bit into the whole Greek lore thing.
3. Not collab as much early on. There is a reason why Hololive didn't let the talents collab with other people/waves at least until a month had passed. They want the girls to grow their own audience. These girls straight out of the gate jumped into about 3 different collabs with a bunch of other well-known vtubers.
4. Try not to overlap schedules as much. Another thing Hololive and Nijisanji tend to do is to spread their talents out so that they can raid into each other once one finishes and the other starts. A small 1-1.5-hour slot would greatly benefit them but from what I checked one has been streaming for about 3 hours the other for 1.5 and the other for 15 minutes. Sure it's somewhat layered but there is still a big overlap. It's important you don't cannibalize yourself.
5. Plan out the stream content. Hades was doing "react" content of sorts playing one of those Youtube quiz videos "can you identify this cartoon opening" and they play like 2 seconds of the song. Zeus was doing a zatsudan (not sure if she did something else different at the start) and Poseidon was reacting to some other youtube video. They remind me a bit of Lia. Lia would get low 100 CCV because she would play random games like Genshin and other shit. She started inclining hard once she focused her streams around more crazy and wild topics she would do "deep dives" on. There are a ton of Vtubers playing [insert game here] or [react to youtube video here].
Hell, there is one Vtuber I constantly see on Youtube that keeps popping up and all she does is react to different shit. All of her videos seem to get 15-20k views and they are all over 15 minutes long (the girl is probably making over $1500 on ad revenue which is not something you can really do on Twitch at the moment).
If they keep doing what they are doing I feel like their growth will be fairly slow. That said they should try to incentivize people to clip their streams (even if Twitch clips are dogshit) and they could later upload the funnier ones to YouTube so that they can grow on both platforms. Twitch is super saturated and depending on their vast number of friends to possibly raid them won't do much. They should also consider simulcasting to pull viewers from both sites or at least get enough watch hours on YouTube so that they can monetize their channel as soon as possible. I understand that all of this requires way more time and effort. Its also possible that they work or have other responsibilities that cut into their "free" time so it might be harder to plan shit out but honestly I feel like it's the only way they can at least stand out from the sea of other Vtubers.
Edit: Now that Hades is gone, both of Zeus and Poseidon's numbers went up. This somehow supports my claim that they are cannibalizing each other's views.
Disclaimer im just a random femboy on a message board that spends too much time watching chuubas and looking for autistic shit. This is all theoretical (but im sure there is more thought put into that written wall of text than any marketing campaign they had past get moist to voice the teaser)
