Google always translates 配信 as "delivery" when "broadcast" would be a better translation. I'm not sure why. Is 配信 used for newspaper or magazine delivery, maybe?

Oh yeah I figured that one out a long time ago, I was just shitposting. It's always ether "delivery" or "distribution". To be honest I'm surprised they didn't just go with "raibu-stureemu" or something when the technology first came about.

If you look at Jisho you can find 配信者 near the bottom;

1. distributor (of information, content, etc.)
Noun
2. (online) streamer

But then if you think about it, it's just the same with English. "Stream"? As in water? What's that got to do with broadcasting? You're talking about data "streaming" down a pipe like a river.. or a stream.

At least in the US, home office deductions are such a nightmare to qualify for and not fail an audit that I don't think it's worth the hassle*.
