Bao has been saying she feels that Sinder went cold on her specifically while remaining close to the rest of that friend group. But the timeline seems to paint a picture of this being a long term woman brainworm grudge, if Silvervale was the catalyst, then it was probably not a factor overall, Sinder's overall cattyness seems to predate alot of the more prolific whoring, Bao seems to have gone full blast on fansly since Nov 2024, its possible, but that would make Sinder's singling out of Bao be only really be for 5 or 4 months at most. There arent clear enough timelines to really say, imo

that being said i have seen some people on twitter question why nano said anything in the first place and it made me think. this is pure speculation but what if nano was secretly afraid sinder was going to turn on her for rejecting the proposal to be her exclusive artist. if the goal was to prevent others from having nanos art and nano refuses to work just for you then one may assume the next step may be to try and frame nano as a bad person and ruin her reputation in some way. sinder was hoping nano would keep what was said private for this reason. nano going to the others was a smart choice because it would prevent this.

So, i have to agree with Bao in that this is just kinda confusing.
So Sinder has been quietly - and successfully - sabotaging people for years now. Nothing really indicates that, had just just kept it up on this level, she would've ever gotten caught.
However, starting, apparently, somewhat recently, Sinder has been seething towards Bao specifically more and more, to the point where Bao has noticed it(described as Sinder being warm and fuzzy towards everyone in the group and getting colder and colder towards Bao, which Bao has been afraid to bring up, thinking she has done something wrong).
This seething makes Sinder go way harder on sabotaging Bao, making Nanoless reach her limit and plan a counter-attack.

And while we don't have any precise timeline for this, for the question Bao keeps asking, "why am i singled out, what did i do differently", i have to wonder...Is the answer just fucking Fansly?

Sinder debuts looking like Silvervale, then fixates on her and starts seething when she's rejected and can't get access to her. There was also leaks of Sinder shit-talking the fuck out of Spite, a small indie, for looking like her (though so far as I know Spite's design actually predates Sinder) and when Spite reveals a new outfit, Sinder drops one that's almost the exact same like 2 weeks later. Bao befriends Sinder, to her gain, and Bao recently saw a big surge in success by debuting a Fansly. Sinder now has a Fansly in the works - and Bao reports Sinder being very friendly to begin with, but turning cold as she gained more and more access to her audience and friend group of other successful indies.
Puzzle piece me maybe for putting these together and playing at armchair psychologist, but it feels like a messed up sort of narcissistic mirroring, where Sinder love-bombs successful people for access to their resources and popularity and incorporates traits they have into her own personality, before becoming contemptuous as they run out of use and she moves onto newer and bigger targets.

From everything I've read, she seems to get her insecurities massively triggered by at least people being more popular than her, and anyone perceived copying her (the hellhound ASMR scuffle, Spite, even the nanoless model thing where she wanted to remain unique). Fucking nobody ever seems to talk about her other than to make fun of her, and I wonder if that's a root cause. On the other hand, a lot of people have opinions they'll offer completely unsolicited regarding Bao's whore antics, but Bao never gets immediately and completely dismissed the same way.

Idk how their group is divided but isn't Numi(whose fucking self-adopted nickname was "Sinder's lap cat") pretty successful at singing? Tricky was, too, IIRC.

I think the timelines matter a lot. Sinder had gotten close enough to Numi's Vtuber friend group that they went on a Ski trip in Feb 2024. Sinder was in a car with Bao & Numi for probably 6+ hours. Not long after that, Sinder had the "vtuber physics are real" moment at a convention.



This is peak catnip to her and it started the increase in her incline in most stats. There was another big event in August 2024 which I forget which, but it's noticeable on the charts.

But, then the Bao Cake stream happened.



This is almost certainly what started the targeting of Bao. Now it's moved from just Vtubing stuff to IRL as well. Bao is younger and in better shape than Sinder, so that's some peak Women Envy potential. Much of the Indie space was obsessed with Bao's ass for the next 6 months. In all of this, Fillian starts the Fansly infection. So Bao runs the fleshtubing into more direct whoring at the same time that Sinder was really gaining even more traction. But, that doesn't work to the envious mind of someone like Sinder. (The Silvervale thing seemed to have happened because of a OneGuy'ing from /vt/?)

The timeline context explains most of it. Sinder was popping off, Bao also had a popoff moment and her sights set on keeping Bao down because she felt threatened.

Lily finding out first probably makes sense. She's the savviest businesswoman of the entire Indie set, and it's not really close.

I can't find the exact date, but the Vcarb collab went up on Sinder's vod channel on Feb 5th. Somewhere in that and Numi's concert in Amsterdam on March 15th, everything seems to have gotten rolling.
