I don't hate yuribaiting I am just factually saying Timesmith is just yuribaiting to get a rise out of Pemaloe and that this is 100% just a normal vacation with a close friend and there is nothing going on between the two. Kaela is just a bit autistic.

Finally caught up with the VOD. 3rd stage offered a lot more than I expected. Stage 3>1>2 for me personally.

Stage 2 had a lot of my favoite performances but stage 3 was very comfy and had my favorite performance for the whole concert (Okayu and Korone). and stage 1 was just great. I'm hoping the next few weeks carry the good vibes and optimism Holofes was providing.

I never thought Ina would be delivering the best vocal performance of Fes, that's for sure.

Caught up with the Creators' Stage; personally this was my favorite of the "Extra" fes stages. It was a bunch of fan favorites that people expect/enjoy. Though I guess that comes with it's own problems if it's not centered around a particular artist/group. "where is my oshi? Marine is in 3 songs?" There's more room for expectation (read: disappointment) when it's not "It's Honeyworks, here are all the songs and the members performing them, the end". Also if it's 'classic' songs, there's little reason it should be shorter then the other main stages. As I said though, this is my favorite one since they started these additional stages; so they are on the right path. It's probably only a path they have to tread until they can have a full 4 stages.

By the slightest of margins, it's Stage 1 > 3 > 2 > Creator

definitely an unpopular opinion, everyone have Stage 3 as best and faaaaaaaar better than Creator Stage
Honeyworks one was an absolute jam while the Deco one was weak. I guess Creator ~~ Deco level.

I think they kinda fucked up by putting gen 0 & biboo/zeta group performance at the start. They should have been the finale acts. Because when you put them at the start, the audience will expect the same thing will be applied again/consistently throughout the concert... Like during Okayu's mogu mogu I was really expecting Gura to show up in the middle of the song, since they already performed it before, and was kinda confused when the song just kept going as her solo.

The chineses uploaded stage 3 and

1) Why Ayame get a entire medley? oh right she has barely made anything in all this time
2) I can hear Kronii soul breaking irl by singing loli kami on a freaking fes
3) Korone only way to top this year is going to be fighting Goku on stage
4) Okayu getting pure slop this year with Mogu Mogu and Just a Kiss in Stage 3 when her Poisonya syndrome album is there full of bangers
5)Gura feel like she was just filling for Fauna on ID Smile and her great solo song was Dango no kaizoku, because is a slow as molasses song and she doesn't have to dance it, im going to remember more Roboco singing Anima that she actually gave a damn about it, wasted slot
6)Ina i'm glad she is embracing more singing even is not her specialty, the experience and training is showing since the first fes, she can go further with more experience, that audience reaction was golden, best of EN this year if you ask me
7)Mumei bless her soul with all her nerfs and shit she is living right now put a good song, good routine and got a good audience reaction, shame she is on the list of candidates to graduate soon
8) Sora getting into the cube for 3 minutes the entire stadium became the Mecca of vtubing, praised be the cube

Gura wasn't even part of the Creator's Stage lineup, why would you expect her to show up?

If anyone was filling for Fauna, it was Ina. They were only one member different for it to become an actual SNOT performance.

Considering Ordan is Sora's official illustrator, seems very fitting.

Because it was too good not to do this.

Trying to get my thoughts together now that I am not sleep deprived. I entered the concert burnt out with Hololive from the past half year, been trying to mask it with toxic forced optimism, and I am worried this colored my perception of the concert. It was great, but the optimism and fun I had in Holofes 4 and 5 felt absent. I am happy Kaela did well. A bit disappointed Grindstone and AkiRaiden (I know the latter were on different stages) didn't happen but that could be next year. Watame's new song was really fun to listen to live. Lui's performance was great. My favorite stage was probably stage 3 with more unconventional performances; I thought Korone and Okayu's duette really showed how amazing Okayu can get at singing and Gura's Clannad performance stood out to me.

Overall, I don't think I can honestly rank it as highly as the other ones I saw, but I do think it might just me being a bit tired from the past few months. I will see if upon rewatching them the Fes grows on me. I plan on rewatching the Holofes parts next weekend perhaps.

What does the past year have anything to do with the quality of fes? That's just how you feel (which isn't wrong) but it has nothing to do with the event being better or worse. For my part I felt like it was about as good as last year's.

I think it was way better than the one year they for some reason decided to have that weird summer concert that went to shit because of the platform they chose, that year the Fes felt shittier and a little rushed to me.
