Knowing the kinds of people these performative anti-corpo circlejerks attract I think it's more likely they'll just double-down on it, since PL info being fair game means they have vtubers' entire online footprint to work with for their cancel culture harassment campaigns, instead of being limited to out-of-context stream clips.

It's a shame because something I've always appreciated about vtuber kayfabe is that it gives people with messy histories a second chance, which is unfortunately incredibly rare these days.
