Marina is on the ice as it is so that you can maximize the damage, and given her past action and the safety provided by such a move; you might have others who went through much worse come out of the woodwork.

Well, without any sort of evidence, we just have to take you as your word. You do have some stature in this community (a position and reputation you're putting on the line against Marina being able to provide evidence you're a liar) so that's not entirely worthless, though. But any sort of corroboration, even if it's just the word of someone else in the community who would know these things and also isn't afraid of coming forward, would be useful.

I really was not trying to out myself directly, but considering the fact that Megu is my friend and is taking an incredibly brave step forward here, I can fully corroborate her story. Not only was I involved in The Afterglow, I was also a guest at Marina's private parties and witnessed the orgies, sexual harassment, and blatant cloutchasing. I also spoke to a lot of smaller indies that went to Marina's parties during that time who felt uncomfortable, but felt they couldn't leave as it was a networking opportunity with larger creators. I've spoken to Proctor in DMs (who can validate my identity) about a lot of my experience, as well as being the first "whistleblower" on this forum about the sabotage of The Afterglow by Marina.

I am hesitant and scared to speak about this due to my past experiences with Marina, and not wanting her to rip open old drama if she learned of my discussions; however Megu is being incredibly brave and I would like to support her in this.

Marina is a fantastic manipulator, so I'm willing to hear some of them out when this shit goes south; however, given her actions, they will need to provide substantial evidence that they were not involved with a lot of Marina's shady dealings as based on the evidence Im seeing I think they may be involved in something unforgivable. I don't know what degree Marina has, but her former job as a teacher has convinced me that, based on her current actions, she is probably a Pedo. To power level a bit, I know several teachers, and I know that they have training on kids' safety on a regular basis. Given that Marina would have been required to do this training regularly, I do not believe Marina deserves the benefit of the doubt on the discord allegations and that this knowledge excludes her from Hanlon's razor argument that she was just ignorant. I know the training teachers go through, and I know for a fact that if Marina was a teacher, they would know better, and their action of leaving the date ambiguous was intentional, just like breaking the new Twitch TOS. Also, given their fetishes, they get off on power imbalances like master and slave, and combined with her past actions, I think it's not much of a leap to believe that Marina gets off to the idea of the power imbalance between adult and child. Your fears are valid, as it's clear that if Marina goes down for ped shit which is an likely the outcome at this point, I don't think any of Marina's remaining friends can salvage their career.

According to the screenshot in this tweet, Marina claimed at least once to have a kid, back in September.

Like it really is just the most terrifying shit to really think about. This person was a teacher, and has some sort of child of their own somehow. (Seeing as this is after Midori's post I'm fully willing to believe it's true, mostly because I have ZERO hesistation to believe the vile type of trans creature this one seems to be are exactly the type I would expect to human shield themselves with one.)

And considering so far what we're hearing about this person from numerous sources in terms of how fast they go from "Hello" to "What porn do you like" I'm just stuck hoping things don't get worse than I expected. I want this creatures castle to crumble, but I really hope things didn't have to get that level of awful for it to happen.
I'm not going to assume or claim anything of course on any level. That's not the way to do things and would be as bad as the shit they do. But part of me can't help the thought process and be worried. There's just been too much shit going on in recent years seen for me to have faith with these flags flying around.

Well, coming from some no-name shit poster on a vtuber forum, I give you props for doing so, especially considering this asshole has specifically targeted you. Same for the multiple people who are/have been speaking out against Marina. I know it can be scary, given we know the kinds of things Marina does.

I really shouldn't be surprised to hear about this behavior. It really is typical of a snake like Marina to slither their way into something and destroy it from the inside by taking from it because people like him lack the creativity to create something on their own without leeching from something else. Hearing from people who were involved and spent a lot of time and effort on what was eventually destroyed by such a person is something else, though. I don't know anything about VRChat stuff, but whatever it is, it still comes down to a clout chasing scum bag infiltrated and destroyed something good for their own selfish reasons.

Again, props to those speaking out against this asshole, but no shame to those who don't want to because of the possible consequences of doing so. You know, I like to point and laugh at some people within this sphere that I don't like for whatever reason, but Marina continues to prove that he's a special level of scumbag beyond most others, and it's not as easy to laugh at him when I'm more disgusted in the way this person acts more than anything.

I'm the guy who wrote the OP in our thread on that certain other agency so I know a bit about it, and I certainly want you to avoid legal trouble as much as possible. That said, I hope you're still around if and when the legal issues are over and you can answer our questions on that as well (hopefully you're not bullied into a settlement with a gag order). In both that and Tsunderia's case I felt the worst for the talents who had stopped their indie activity in the months leading up to debuting as a new corpo generation and ended up having nothing to show for it except bad memories.

As for LumiLive, I don't really know enough about it besides that all of its talents quit at once, so I don't even know where to start asking questions. If you don't mind writing a bit, would you be willing to start a new thread on the The Rec Room board (use the blue "Post Thread" button near the upper right) and put your story in a few paragraphs and we can take it from there?

If that's too much writing, you could also just make a stream out of it. Let me know when and I'll be sure to tune in.

Honestly this stuff all makes perfect sense if you observe Marina's public persona for more than about 1 minute. I know he's a "lewdtuber", but a quick scroll though his twitter and there is little outside aggressive, obnoxious sex stuff, interspersed with tranny shit (I think we can all speculate on a link here). Classic manipulative sex pest, allowed to worm their way into other people's spaces by obfuscating their malicious intentions through meme-y phrasing (dommy mommy ara ara step on me cultured hentai amirite?) and the ability to hide behind society's current obsession with defending the newly determined God-given right to be a nasty pervert with no judgement or criticism.

I hope those who have been impacted negatively by this person see some just deserts dished out, and I hope this serves as a reminder to us all to not give the Marinas of this world an inch.

I think the thing that sucks to most of us isn't necessarily that it's shocking, it's just unfortunate that this type of thing has happened yet AGAIN, and is also another time that it's allowed to and continued because they're a "protected class" in current year bullshit. They slithered their way through and up the "proper way" to get themselves placed up above a lot of others, became buddies with a lot of "the right people" and therefore basically end up untouchable without a massive coordinated effort finding reasonable proof of it.

You would think yet how much of that crap gets ignored or goes under the radar conveniently even in big platforms. Even now some recent news is how fb/metaverse can't be assed to properly handle minors or something like that. edit: I admit I forget the details of what the issue was, absolutely correct me if retarded.

As far as posting in the thread though there's also the fact that things are compiling and so on. Discussion will potentially get more eyes on it which might lead to more potential people stepping up. But you also need to make sure nobody says too much that sets off alarms. On top of that, IF all of these things are being gathered, this thread's by far the worst place to do it.
Us just casually using it is arguably a good thing because most of us are only working with the knowns. You want any major informational sutff handled the way it's implied to be currently: Where nobody except the involved gatherers are seeing it. At least in my opinion anyway that makes sense to me.
One badly linked or given info drop showing a line of connections can lead to the horde being alerted and zooming in to sweep the traces. Or getting their goon squad to harass someone into backing off etc.

This is also why I would jump on the wagon some others have and say make sure those stepping forward are taking care of yourselves first. As the people who are coming out first (and potentially the only ones who do) it's imperative you are looking after yourself because that makes you the first people that can be targets.
Kudos to y'all for stepping up and I genuinely hope this goes somewhere that can not only help already affected but prevent some future bullshit.
