Aussies are ride or die with the US. They are okay in my book.
I can't help but feel there's some bias here.

More like the fact that we have a military treaty with Australia and NZ going back to 1951 that can be invoked as a call to arms for three countries to help one-another in times of unrest. Despite that, Australia and NZ never needed the treaty to be invoked as a reason to join every major war the US was a part of for 50 years. The only time it was invoked was before the invasion of Afghanistan and by Australia, not the US.

Why would the want to stay friends with Britain? After all Britain sent them to jail there expecting half them to die.
Australia was more closely allied with Britain than the USA until after WWII (Australia entered WWI and WWII as allies of Britain). After WWII, Australia transitioned from being most closely-allied with Britain to being more closely-allied with the USA. Technically, Australia is still a constitutional monarchy ruled by Britain, but this has only been relevant once since WWII.

This tweet made me think. If there was a world war but for vtubers. Which agencies would be on which side? And how should indies be placed? As a whole?

Looks like they deleted their twitter in the last 24 hours. Wonder what they recently tweeted that they suddenly ran away. Looking at the kruosanji subreddit shows two recent posts about some kindred talking shit about doki on twitter. But those pansy ass retards don't name names or source any screenshots.

Imagine being butthurt over terrorists offing other terrorists. Don't these people have, like, better shit to do? Like buy groceries or watch porn?

I think a lot of people look at USA hegemony and it's in our nature to rebel against imbalances in power, even yanks love being the underdog in the rare situations they get to be like in sports they aren't known for. But the mistake is thinking that no USA hegemony means no hegemony, when in reality it means Chinese or Russian hegemony (Probably Chinese based on Russia's recent competency). So as an Australian am I going to want the world leader to be an imperfect Western society or a single-party state that only cares about itself? It's not a hard choice.

>Choose to be the leader of an anti-Israel terrorist group
>Live right next to Israel
>Israel assassinates you

There are people that will be surprised by this result.

No one but the USA has a blue water navy capable of any real forward projection. Everyone skips over just how important that is to the existence of all global trade routes and how little the USA actually asks in return. The US Navy is one of the most critical public service organizations on the planet.

But, seriously, don't touch that boats.

It's mostly the American in me talking, but one thing I've always found incredibly annoying about the Israelis is not doing that stuff sooner. Gazans were shooting upwards of 100s of rockets a day into the western parts of Israel. If some chunk of Mexico started doing that, we'd make that space cease to exist.

I feel like this tracks with the internet discussions about Starship Troopers (movie), because a lot of the ST memes are applicable to the situation.

I'd also like to point out that a bunch of Ukrainians in sheds have produced more long-range strike potential than the Iranians currently have in inventory. Though that isn't surprising, after the end of the "War on Terror" period and a shift back to Near-Peer platforms, US Defense companies are in "build as much heinous shit at possible" mode. And that's just what we know about.

Lastly, taking out by pager bombs in 2024. :dokiwheeze:

I guess? Israel doesn't manufacture shit, tho, so they're incredibly lucky that old US senators are obsessed with just dumping space weaponry into the IDF's possession for the lulz.

I think that's my biggest problem with the entire Middle East situation, that I as a taxpayer have to partially fund Israel's retarded desire to pick a fight with every one of their neighbors. Stop supplying them with weapons and we can all have a nice laugh when that moves them to the "Finding Out" portion of their decades-long campaign to Fuck Around.

Bro, this is the same group that, after their foreign produced pagers exploded, decided to start using foreign produced radios without checking for explosives. They're not really an intelligent bunch.

As a reminder, Iraq was once the 4th largest military in the world
