If the thinks, he's at a point where he can't reflect, otherwise his sandcastle, house-of-cards self worth would crumble to nothing (maybe a sinkhole). It would be much better to do it sooner rather than later, though.... The potential recovery to a healthy sense of worth would be much less painful and drawn out.
I genuinely believe that Nolan is incapable of self-reflection, recovery, or improvement. His autism prevents it. It's possible to socialise autistic people into functional adults but it relies on catching it early and extensive support and programmes to help them while young. There are many success stories and I'm sympathetic to the struggles of the autistic, but based on the state of the Schlamersdorf children - 1 Nolan, 1 trans, and 1 committed suicide, I'd be real surprised if he's ever seen the sort of healthy family dynamic and specialised help for that to be a realistic outcome for him. There are lots of boomer parents who just never test their children despite the warning signs or just ignore the special needs and try to raise their autistic child like any other (infamously Chris-chan for instance). The window of opportunity has likely been lost. This is it. He's a grown man now and this is probably how Nolan is going to act for the rest of his life.

He's currently shitting up the Bau baus anniversary stream, and was in Biboos as well both after Shiori's. What a shock of course, some of DEM CELEBRAAAAAATION AND NOOMBERS streams. As funny as it would be he'll have to mess up pretty hard to get any level of actual effort ban done. Several of the girls have austistic anti's who actively try to cause issues sometimes that aren't even banned. His inane idiocy is certainly pretty low on the radar for anyone with a sizeable chat.
